There is this person who is one of fiancees oldest friends who totally disrespected me and caused too many problems in my relationship with my fiancee. She acted as though I didn’t exist and asked things of us that she really shouldn’t have, just because fiancee used to do a lot for her and her son in the past. No one likes to be disrespected and because I am always told I am a kind person I tend to do a lot for people but she took me for granted too many times that now I would rather not have anything to do with her. I don’t want a person like that in my life. I am getting married and have told him and she knows that I don’t want her there, such an important day I don’t want to be reminded of those horrible times in my relationship because that’s what she represents. I am on the road to forgiveness but as far as i am concerned that doesn't mean i have to be friends. Fiancee would like her and her son there but i can't do it. She was orignially invited even though i didn't want her

I read an article that talked about how some American families flee to Canada because either the son or husband was in the military and does not want to go to Iraq.

The article talked more about the experiences of these Americans and how they are trying to become Canadian citizens etc., but it didn't mention much about what Canadians thought about it.

Nor did it state what Canada's position was regarding American military deserters.

The same thing happened during Vietnam when tens of thousands of Americans fled to Canada and many remained etc.

My mother may have chronic myeloid leukemia, and one of the ways of treating it is a bone marrow transplant.

Who are usually the closest matches for donors? Can children be a close enough match (usually) to be a donor?

Once a donor is found, what happens?

I am very worried, and would like to know what my chances are of being able to help my mother. I would like to know what may be in store for her, and how I can help her prepare in every way. I would also like to know how the transplant affects the donor so I may prepare, if I am a match.

my daughters daycare was unexpectedly closed today because of toxic fumes. i had to work, i told my mother that it was closed but i didnt ask for her to babysit. she made a big deal about her having to go in to work to finish up some cases, she's on vacation. i asked my aunt to babysit because i couldnt miss work and she said fine. then my mother says ok i will babysit but you have to pay me. i told her that i already had it worked out and to forget about it. now she emails me and she tells me that she will go get my daughter after work which she doesnt have to. should i have to pay her even though i said she didnt have to?

we closed july 13th. what can we deduct? We've put in $5,000 in labor and repairs. Can we deduct that? plus our tax valuation is $14,000 more than what we bought the house for. what are the options on getting some of those taxes back? i hate taxes. why does it have to be so confusing? why isn't there a Simple list of what you can deduct without reading 150 pages of tax law?

its um a little late, not that much , couple days i guess. i don't know the days of my last period but around the 25th of nov im guessing. anyway took a preg test on xmas eve, and it said no. yesterday and last night i felt like iwas getting my period. but no, nothing.. whats up with that? have anyone of you got a neg result then a positive a few days later? also is there a time frame that yoiu need to pass before you can get a pos result. like saying that if i am pregnant i believe my date of conception is the 13th of dec. so that would only make me like 2 weeks pregers. is that why is it said no, even though i may be or is No a No/. what do you guys think?

Changed from Oregon driver's license to California in April of this year. Moved to Washington state and now have an Washington drivers license. Insurance company wants to know my old Oregon drivers license but can't find my old Or card. It is somewhere in the many packing boxes. How do I get this information so I can get my car insurance?

Hi,
I just got back with my b/f a little over a year ago, prior to that we dated for 3 months and during that time I got pregnant. We broke up before I found out I was pregnant. When I told him, he really had no interest in our child. As time passed my daughter grew up and had very little contact with her father and last year before she turned 1 he started coming around because he broke up with his g/f. We started our relationship again but I have lost all interest in him. I know he is really into me, but I don't feel the same. Sometimes I wonder if it is just a phase that will end or if it'll just get worse. Sometimes I just want to cry because I hate the feeling of having to be with someone I am not attracted to. Also my daughter is a big issue because now that she has her father I can't really take him away from her and I know that if I break up with him he will not come around to see her anymore.Anyways please help me and let me know what you think!!Thanks a million.

okay, my boyfriend is 14 and is extremely close with his cousin and she is 18....I mean extremely close. He thinks I'm overreacting but he is OBSESSED with her! In the USA the majority of people are still White, or at least the most dominant. So do white people view non-white people, or nonwhite people who still keep their families cultures alive.. as different and not reallly American...or do they accept us as equals even if we have accents and stuff?

Using a standard, cheap microphone that came with a PC, plugged into the microphone socket. It records sound, but very quietly. Would it record sound better if a better microphone was used?
