I am completely disgusted with the behavior of Brittney Spears. Do you think she is a fit mother?

I see worse cases of child neglect and abuse daily on my own streets, i really dont care about some multimillionair floozie and her nanny parented offspring.

Well I am not watching her or witnessing her often enough to truly tell if she is a fit mother or not. Yes she has made some mistakes, don't MOST new mothers and for that matter mothers in general. The difference is HERS ARE MAGNIFIED. If any other woman makes those mistakes you simply don't hear about them. I could argue the children are best off with a birth parent but that isn't always the case. On the other hand I hear K-Fed is insane so really the kids shouldn't be with him. First look at that name. Second my friends say he was on some late night show, I think Conan, and said that Brittney was holding him back was part of why he wanted the divorce. SAY WHAT? Holding him back from making a bigger fool of himself maybe.

I think she is going through a "behavioral episode." Their may be many causes for this from medical to emotional or internal anger she is expressing in the wrong way. We don't really know what type of mother she is at home during the day but I don't think she is acting like a mature adult when she goes out in the evening as often and in the manner in which she does. In context, however, the upper class British families often send their children away to boarding school full-time when they are very young and as someone who went away to boarding school during high school, I never thought that was ideal parenting during those formative years. I think we should wait and see.regarding Brittany. I predict we will see a change in behavior over time.

I think she's just a little girl -- silly, immature, that kind of thing.

She's been working hard during the nicest years of her life and she didn't have time to grow up, to party out with friends, to have fun like a normal kid would. She couldn't get to know people and gain experience about love, friendship, relationships -- that's why she married this goofball Kevin and that's why her marriage didn't last long.

I believe she loves her sons, as far as the "unfit mother" - it doesn't matter at all, because I'm sure her nanny spends more times with the kids than she does.

she seems to be a good mother and im sure she is. who are you to judge her partying? mothers can go out and party as well.. it's just that her life is in the public eye and everything is so exaggerated. do YOU THINK THAT ******* kevin is fit for taking custody? he has 2 or 3 other kids w/ someone else. need i remind you, he left Shar when she was pregnant w/ HIS CHILD. he is the one that is irresponsible. if anyone should have the kids- it should be Britney. she's still young and just got out of a very publicized marriage- one everyone wanted to end. now that it's over... she can party if she wants to! leave the girl alone and give her a break. there's a million more mothers/fathers out there that are unfit to be parents.

she at least has the $$$$$$$ to hire good people to take care of her child.

She has been tied down for two years. She's still young and just got her new found freedom again. Although, she really could tone it down a notch and be a little more discreet about her partying. But then again, we don't have paparatzi following us around everywhere we go, so we don't really know what it is like to have no privacy...
She will get it out of her system eventually. Hopefully she won't embarrass herself too much more before she does.

She is a horrible mother. Her second child is small and probably would need her at night not a nanny. She is careless with her own child. She was driving a car with a child on her lap. If she would have had the slightest accident that airbag could have killed her son. or he would fly out the window. She doesnt realize she is missing out on their lives.

While I understand your disappointment in her, you have to put yourself in her shoes. We have all done things other people might not agree with, and screwed up with our kids, but we don't have people taking pics of us reminding us all the time of our mistakes. As for how she's been lately, Imagine being married to someone you thought you could trust, then only to find out it was for them to further their own career. You'd be heart broken. But she probably didn't want to be proven wrong by society, so she tried to make it work, but lets face it, even the strongest willed couldn't stay married to that @ss. I'm not a fan of hers, but I do know how hard it is to be a young mom, and I could never imagine having to do it in the public eye. Good luck to her, and the rest of you.

my question is where are her kids?i mean come on she is seen time after time after time without her kids...she is not the one taking care of them!!and dont get me wrong i dont think that kevin is any better and should have them either...i feel sooo sorry for those babies!some people are just not parent material and brit and kevin are a perfect example!

yes every mom needs A NIGHT out but i think she is taking it way too far.if that was a average person being seen acting the way that she does the childrens social services would be all over it..just because she has money doesnt make it right...so to answer no she is not a good mom...and to people asking if everyone is perfect..this question had nothing to do with asking if she is perfect!

i dont like k-fed either though. i think he would be worse than brittney is. see brittney i think is a little more worried about what people think of her than k-fed. although she almost dropped her first kid. and the baby fell out of the high chair. and having her kid in her lap while driving away from poparazi. i dont know but i think she has a lot of growing up to do. she dresses like a skank. not like a mother.

First and foremost, are you a perfect parent? Littlle people are these days and judging others on it is just wrong. There are people who make worse mistakes in their parenting decisons on a daily basis, but the world doesnt know about it because they are not celebs and photographers arent there snapping ever trip and almost fall or such incidence. Things happen when you're a parent that in hindsite maybe had been preventable, but things happen. I'm not saying i agree with how she is doing things, but parenting other peoples kids is not our job. Its our job to raise our own and teach them right from wrong.
