When watching movies and playing video games (fictional worlds), I always get emotionally involved, and that kind of involvment lasts for long. I can't realize the emotional association with the ral world. The fact that I can't just dive and stay into fictional worlds causes depression and panic. How come?

What's the correlation?

I work in a large corporate building home to several thousand employees.

One of the bathrooms on my floor constantly stinks of urine and/or other scatological compounds. It's a matter of the water pressure - it's too high, so when people flush, it sprays contaminated bowl water all over the floor.

Another interesting fact about this bathroom is that the last stall on the right is the biggest and most consistent disseminator of Christian propaganda in the (quite large) building. Fully 90% of the time I have used that stall - over the course of nearly 2 years; we're talking dozens of gastrointestinal sojourns - there is a Christian-themed pamphlet, news story, or Kent Hovind DVD.

Is this horrific, muck-floored, stench-filled bathroom a secret meeting place of underground Christian propagandists? Or does it happen to be the place closest to an outspoken proponent of Jesus?

From a state of utter, threadbare confusion, I ask you: what's the correlation?

What makes glass green that isnt in recycled glass?

I had two glass bottles of Coca Cola® with my lunch today, one was made of glass with a green tint and the other of clear, both bottles had the same batch number but from the markings on them i deduced that the clear one was made from recycled glass. The embossing on it was also not as legible as on the green bottle. What is it that is added to new glass to give it this green tint, what is the purpose of it and why is it lost when the glass is melted and re-moulded?

What violations did President Bush violate?

I am hearing that President Bush should be impeached, that he is a criminal. Now I'm hearing that he violated his Oath of Office! I mean what was his violation, in my eyes he didnt do anything wrong. and dont tell me people that was killed under his belt. There is no president, prime minister, king or emperor who doesnt have bodies under his belt. someone fill me in with their logic. (sources are recommended)

What is wrong with this situation?

Why does my husband think it is completely ok to make me feel like I am a nuisance? It's not that he does it all the time, just when the mood strikes him. We went to a restaurant the other day and he got mad, because when the waitress asked if we wanted anything else I shook my head no. She apparently was only looking at me and left the table after she saw my reaction. My husband got all annoyed with me then, because he wanted dessert. I was like, "Well, you should have said something." and then he acts like I make everything his fault. I felt bad about it, so when the waitress came back I asked her apologetically if we could see what was for dessert. She had no problem with that, but my husband told her no thanks. When she left, he told me not to bother talking for him. THAT IS SO IRRITATING! I was trying to make up for him not getting dessert and he makes it seem like I am trying to be some overbearing b@#ch! Is it just me, or is that childish of him?

What do you think of two white parents using black donor sperm?

I have friends who are both white but the guy has a low sperm count. They want to use donor sperm and are considering using the sperm of someone who is black. Because in the UK, people that donate sperm are completely anonymous, you don't see any photos of them so you can't tell if they are really really ugly. So because they feel that black people and mixed race are generally more attractive and healthier than most white Europeans they think their baby will be given better characteristics. They consider themselves not to be racist at all and have friends from many nationalities and they have traveled around the world.

Is it too idealistic or could it work given the right circumstances?

I was in an auto accident and have to pay out of pocket as my insurance has lapsed.?

When there auto insurance company sends me a bill do they expect it in full or will they take payments? If I don't pay it all ASAP, will they send it straight to collections?

My Fiance and her medicine?

My wonderful soon to be bride is taking a medication called accutain for her acne. I think she is beautiful just the way she is and tell her that often. But she is a bit younger than me, 18 years to be exact, and I think she feels like she wants to look "perfect" for our wedding in Feb. I can not emphasize enough that I am NOT one of those guys who nags about appearance. I love her for HER and what is inside her heart. With that said, I feel like she is having some of the side affects that are posted about accutain. Namely, mood swings, very emotional, angers easily, all things very common to this drug and very very VERY uncommon to her. I have made a suggestion to her to talk to her doctor, but she refuses. My question is not whether I should pursue this, but how is the best way to do it without appearing like I am trying to control her. This drug is affecting her health and our relationship and I want to do something now for her and us.
