There sure does seem to be an influx of crap but I think it runs in cycles. Back in my day (don't you hate it when old people say that?) it was the same, some good and some bad. Over all I think the 80's was THE worst! I don't know the song you mentioned but I am going to find it!

rap does suck there is no point to its repetitive bull ****
a few bands that are good these days are U2, Minus the bear, the flaming lips, beck, and nickelback.
some older bands that are still cool are Boston, Led Zeppelin(beware many people misspell this), Aerosmith, and anything from the sevendies and eighties. have fun

try the hind hits.they are great.get the tape of the movie kabhi alvid naa kehna as a start.you'll fall in love with the hindi songs,even if u don't understnd the lyrics.
