I know its last minute, he is very hard to shop for. He does not like material things, so he says. He is into computers, snowboarding, traveling and me. He loves when im creative with my gifts for him, but im just tapped for new ones right now. So please, any ideas will help. Thank you!

I don't have very much money to go x-mas shopping, we moved into town and our jobs don't start until next month. So I told my daughter that x-mas was coming until the end of January, am I a bad mom to do this. We used most of our money to move here, and yes ends are barely being met. We are both teachers, and I think we moved bacause my husband started to get involved with the school secretary, so one of them left voluntarily and yes she was the single mom, so My husband moved us out of that place, he claims to feel sorry for her.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I have been spotting off and on for 2 days. I went to the ER this morning and had a transvaginal ultrasound done. The Dr said that the baby was very low in the uterus and gave me a 50% chance of losing the pregnancy. He said that the spotting was normal and had nothing to do with the baby's position. What I want to know is why does this mean I have such a highrisk of M/C?Isn't a low implantation what cause placenta previa? Women carry to term with that , don't they? So why was I given such bad odds?

Some people say that it is impossible for men to determine God's nature, his origin, desires, motives, plans etc. But if that is so, how can they still believe in that God? How can those same people say that God has a plan for their life or wants them to conduct their lives in a certain way, when they admit that God's plan and motives are unknowable? Maybe there is an error in my thinking, but I just don't get it. Can someone help me understand?

We have a septic tank. After some time with no smell, we now have a sewage-type odor coming up out of the bathroom sink. We do not notice it from the bathtub drain. Tank was pumped out in the last year or so, and we have used a tank treatment to keep good bacteria working on the sewage. What should I do next?

I got an offer from an international growing investment management firm to work in their Tokyo branch for 4,500,000 YEN / year which equals to $38,000!! A big slap on the face considering the company is pretty reputable on Wall St.
I got another offer in one of the Big 4 accounting firms for $55,000 in the west coast. Which you were me, which one would you choose?

ps. if anyone knows the average salary in Tokyo for finance, that will be a very helpful information.

I have heard of the three strikes and your out bit but “I love him”. We are engaged to be married in March. My biggest fear is that his bad side will present its self again. He has never hit me but has put him hands on me like pushing/grabbing. Now I’m not one to sit back and allow people to treat me like a rag doll but I truly believe we are meant to be. When he gets really mad it’s like I have to walk on egg shells just not to provoke him. What do you think the odds are he will explode again and get physical with me? My water heater is less than 1 yr old. It is a gas heater with spark ignition. Recently, the pilot/flame went out for no apparent reason. When I try to relight the pilot and turn on the gas, the flame and pilot stays on for a minute or so and then shuts off.What might the problem be?
