s Charlotte Or Raleigh better place to start a business that targets small to midsized companies. What market has more companies starting up?

I live in Durham for 2 years and I think Raleigh is a good place. You have many well know cities that surround it (i.e. Durham, Chapel Hill), plus RTP ( Reasearch Triangle Park).

My sister lives about 75 miles from Charlotte and gets their TV news. All they ever show is violence; people being attacked in mall parking lots, university campuses, and even in their own homes. I don't know what Raleigh has to offer, but Charlotte is the last place on earth that I'd want to live.
