I am not in touch with anyone on my father's side, including my grandmother, however I really want to find out her maiden name for geneology reasons. I only know her married name and her spouses name. How can I find out her maiden name?

Go to the SSDI (Social Security Death Index) site. If your Father ever recieved Social security, you can request a copy of your Dad's application. It will cost you a little, but the information will be exact. It will show your father's parents' names. That's how I found out my Grandfather's last name on my Mother's side. If you have any information on your Grandmother, such as the city she lived in, her approximate birth date, etc., you can e-mail me and I will do a little research for you. I've been doing it for quite a while.
