Two cowboys come upon an Indian lying on his stomach with his ear to the ground. One of the cowboys stops and says to the other, "You see that Indian?"
"Yeah," says the other cowboy.
"Look," says the first one, "he`s listening to the ground. He can hear things for miles in any direction."
Just then the Indian looks up. "Covered wagon," he says, "about two miles away. Have two horses, one brown, one white. Man, woman, child, household effects in wagon."
"Incredible!" says the cowboy to his friend. "This Indian knows how far away they are, how many horses, what color they are, who is in the wagon, and what is in the wagon. Amazing!"
The Indian looks up and says, "Ran over me about a half hour ago."

I was planning on cooking some holiday delights and was hoping to avoid using corn syrup as I have been reading that it is not good for you. I thought maybe maple syrup would be a healthier choice, but didn't know if that was true or not; or whether I could even use it as a subsitute. Thanks for your help!

He is 18 months old and has not always had this problem. It is in the area beneath his eyes but his eyes do not look as though they weep.

Also it does smell like stale water so I am not sure if it is splashing up there when he is having a drink. It just seems strange to become a problem now rather than him always being like that.

Please tell me you can help as currently my dog is stinky!!

My sister in law is one of the most inconsiderate people i know.She causes trouble every chance she gets and then comes out smelling like a rose.I have never met anyone as insecure as her.She tries to run me down buy calling me names,and even tells her friends(so called!)that i am a bi*ch,just so they won't want to hang out with me.Everyone tells me to ignore her because she is just jealous.She is not the best looking person.I try but it has gotten way out of hand.She won't even let her husband hardly talk or see my husband(his brother)or his parents.I blame him for that also though.She is so possesive of him that she even works with him!He can't even go to the boys night out hockey game without her going.Mind you,she is the only women there.My mother in law has even put her two sense in.She said that she doesn't bother to say anything just to keep the peace.I say that peace at any cost is no peace at all.My question is,do i say something to her after xmas,or keep quite?

I read all these questions from teenagers and young adults about sex, and they have no idea the consequences or that having sex totally changes your life. do any other parents out there wonder what happened to the art of parenting? My mom had me at 17 and she made sure that I wouldn't make the same decisions and that I would have better oppurtunities than she did. I worry for all these babies in the world having babies or getting STD's because they haven't been educated. Maybe I'm just blowing off steam but I am curious to see if anyone shares my opinion.

My maw maw always made divinity during christmas time. She passed away this year and no one in family has her recipie. I want to bake a cake, but it seems that almost every cake I make, after a day or two it gets well.. not moist anymore. I keep the cake in a cake box but it still dosen't work. Does anybody know what I can add to my cakes to make them moist? I buy the cake mixes where you add eggs, water and oil. Would I need to add butter to make it moist? HELP!

It seems to me that one of the greatest fears of the pro-life crowd is that without regulation, people will use abortions as a form of birth control which I agree is wrong. So, in that line, would you favor a 3 strikes law at the state level in which a woman is allowed 3 abortions by choice (that is to say that rape victims get a free pass)?
