I DONT HATE ANYONE BUT I HAVE DISLIKED SOME ONE B 4 MEETING THEM SUCH AS MY SISTER (NOW) STEP DAUGHTER BECAUSE SHE WAS SO MEEEEEEAAAAN 2 HER AND STILL IS. OR MY BROTHER IN LAWS GIRLFRIEND, HE IS STILL MARRIED TO MY SISTER.SO I GUESS YOU CAN SAY I DONT LIKE SOME PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE HURT MY FAMILY, AND I WOULD STILL GIVE THEM THE BENIFIT OR A DOUUGHT AND GIVE THEM A CHANCE

Actually, this phenomenon occurs when that person looks like or displays the same mannerisms as someone you know who is not very likeable in your eyes.

"First impression" is based on your previous experience. Unfortunately it is a very strong factor in human relationships and hard to overcome. I believe it comes from a more primitive instinct our ancestors had where a snap judgment of a situation was necessary for survival,

YES. its the first impression. its something about the person's face or something makes me feel like...i can never ever get along with him/her. maybe its the attitude that pisses me off. this is not about judging just because of his/her appearance...this is like...the first time we lay eyes on each other, we've already become enemies.

No, my mother taught me never to hate anybody. But sometimes, when you meet someone, um, shall we say "unsavory"... You just instinctively know they are a slimeball!
