i'm thinking of going to see wicked in NYC. is it a good play???

you better go, it is AMAZING...saw it in NY 2 times, Chicago 3 times. My girlfriend is in theatre and currently is touring in it (thus the amount of times seen it)...but from a guys stand point, it is great...funny and sad....it is fun to see how they tell the story of how the Witches from Wizard of Oz get to be where they are before Dorothy comes into it....But, yes, it is a great show I think anyone would like it....

It is amazing. It has a really interesting storyline--very cool. I personally liked it a million time more than the actual book it's based on. Before you go, you must know the story well. Maybe you could read the book, but you definitely have to watch the movie THE WIZARD OF OZ to refresh your memory. You'll love. If you like a good story, reading between the lines, and find it comical that they can make you love The Wicked Witch and be strongly irritated by glinda, you picked the right show. You'll love it. BTW. If you are wanting to get autographs, you need some help. This building is like a hotel, and there is this big garage-like area through it where the entrance to the play is. The actors come out on the other side of the covet thingy. I looked and looked for it in painful heals until everyone was already gone. It was depressing...

It's really a good show - lavish and extravagantly produced - terrific songs and the book is quite good. I haven't seen it since the original cast left, but wow - they had great voices!
Do you have tickets yet?! I would be surprised if you can get tickets for Christmas weekend this late! This show sells out MONTHS ahead of time.

It is a very popular show with great songs and a very well written script/book. It's worth seeing, especially if you're going to see it on Broadway.

I don't know. If you miss it, you can see it for free. Just hang around. Any neighborhood or streetcorner will do.
