last week and she is really bummed. We have been talking about it and I have been trying to help. I know it's just going to take some time but does anyone have any useful suggestions? I told her to try to avoid seeing him (at school) because it hurts and definitely DON'T contact him (texting) because she's just torturing herself. I told her to try to stay busy to keep her mind occupied. Last night it hit her hard, Sunday nights can do that .

I only met this girl 3 days ago. When I met her, I think she was a little stoned. But later, she told me she was not like that. That's not her. So ok, then after two days she phoned me and I phoned her back. Last thing I know, she said, she went to these bars, got drunk and I asked her how did get home. She told me she didn't know. Anyway, she'll be going to this religous college next year. So guys, what do you think of her? Is she in denial? Is she lying? You know, trying to cover-up something.

I went to the gynecologist a few weeks ago to get checked (see my other question) and I was put on birth control pills though I am not sexually active. I was actually on my period a couple of weeks ago (the 6th) and now am bleeding lightly again and have cramps. Is this a normal side effect for the pill?

My wife got divorced last year and married me a few months ago. Her ex has a bad job that he won't get rid of that requires him to work on Saturdays. In the meantime, he takes them over to my wife's father's house for free babysitting every Saturday.

On one side, they are his grandchildren, but we're happy to let him see the kids through us. I think it's inappropriate to have the ex using my wife's family as his personal day care. I know for a fact that if it weren't for needing the free babysitting, he wouldn't take them over there at all.

On top of it all, my new father-in-law hasn't even spent any time with us in the last 8 months, but sees his ex-son-in-law every other weekend as he does him this favor.....

I was holding my daughter's hand and lifted her up by her hand/arm to carry her over a puddle on the street - do you think that would have hurt her arm? I worry that by doing that it would pull her arm out of its socket?
