why do liberals say the Iraq war is an 'oil' war?? if we wanted oil wouldn’t we have went to Saudi Arabia and got ALL the oil?? plus there’s a million reasons to go there, crimes against humanity specifically. why would we be led into an 'oil' war against Iraq with 0 oil compared to the Saudi’s??

the U.S could have spent the trillions that we have used in Iraq on natural fuels and the entire world would buy from us making us trillions in revenue not to mention the trillions we would save from buying oil right? I say bad intelligence not a deliberate 'lie'

Your a little behind the times, even the conservatives are now coming out and saying that the reasons for going to Iraq were bogus, the administration lied to the citizens. The reasons for going to Iraq have changed several times now. Find WMD's, find the labs where they build WMDs, get rid of Saddam H, bring democracy to the region. If you listened to the speeches by the administration at the beginning of all this you'd have heard, Iraq can pay for the war with oil sales, administered by the U S.......etc.
Although the U S has the finest army on the planet they are losing to a third rate power with gorilla tactics. It is not the fault of the army but of your leaders who designed this invasion and have badly administered the whole situation.
Now your country is broke and worse - in debt the likes of which has never been seen before.
The Libs are angry and they should be - Hell YOU should be angry...why aren't you?

Well you could begin by getting your facts straight..
Saudi Arabia has a vastly depleted oil reserve now, and the cost of extraction is higher than it is in Iraq.
Iraq has the second largest oil reserve on earth and unlike any other nation, Iraqi oil is swimming just below the surface and needs relatively little refining compared with oil from other places.
In a nutshell.. IRAQ IS THE BOMB!!
So yeah.. if you had your facts straight then it is completely conceivable that the Iraq war IS an oil war.
As for the humanitarian thing you mentioned.. GIVE US A DAMN BREAK!!
USA has committed 1000 times worse attrocities in Iraq than Saddam ever had or would have done! USA bombed the whole country destroyed schools, universities, all public records offices (except the oil ministry) and even sat back as the cultural identity of Iraq was plundered.. and now artefacts are for sale in USA of course..
I'd love ot agree with you as i grew up loving America and everything it stood for.. but sadly.. you lost me BIGTIME when you started bombing a sovereign country, under the guise of avenging September 11.. which itself has many dubious dark clouds.. most notably the admission that the owner of the towers actually "downed" one of his own buildings which was not knocked down by the planes.. so they bombed it themselves.. this was admited on TV for the world to see (I have the footage)and it was VERY suspect.. WHY would he have had his other tower wired up with bombs?? He must have pre-planned it as not long after the twin towers fell.. another building suddenly collapsed next ot the tower.. this it turns out was owned by the same man who owned the twin towers.. and he admited he planted bombs in it to down the building.. the thing is how did he know Sept 11 was going to happen?? His building was already wired with explosives and was downed not long after the two towers fell..
Secondly.. the pentagon.. it SMACKS of cover-up!! it simply could not have happened the way the US alleges.. it is a scientific impossibility.. there was no wreckage.. plane crashes leave wreckage.. plus a boeing could not have fit through the hole left in the pentagon wall.. and I will pay anyone who proves it possible $1,000,000!!!
But i know my money is as safe as Bin Laden..

Iraq has the second largest quantity of proven reserves in the world, AND controlling Iraq prevents anyone else from being able to do anything else in the region; specifically the Chinese.
