I was wondering which one i should get for christmas, id really like to spend less money but its 50 bucks less. Why cant they make good ones that only have 10 gb? thanks for the help.

I'm the predicted salutatorian of my highschool freshman class, but my study habits aren't that great: im almost always up past midnight finishing homework, and my mom won't let me quit any of my extra curricular activities, my grade thats really bringing me down is biology, and i just want to figure out if there's a way to study better in order to become number 1 instead of just runner-up.

Beyond economic insecurity, I also think that general dissatisfaction with life, or a sense of victimhood, can make people more willing to adopt views with a reduced burden of proof.

Thus, a happy, content person appears to be more reluctant to adopt ideas that have low levels of proof, such as conspiracy theories or sweeping generalizations about group of people and their intentions.

For example, I have heard commentators observe that the Islamic world is rife with conspiracy theories, and it seems clear to me that many Muslims somehow feel victimized by the West.

Could it be that people who are struggling with life are grasping at straws for ideas to explain their circumstances, so desparate that they are willing explore ideas beyond reason? I have heard parents of autistic chidren express similar views.

If you agree, can you suggest why a possible cause? Samples from history which support your conclusions are welcome.

hey i have a apple laptop and and normal PC....i like using my mac but i like to watch video reviews and things on youtube but they so slow on my mac!! but on my pc they are so much quicker!! why is this...they are connected through a router..the pc is the main one and my laptop is connnected to that...so if we use the same internet connection...why is my internet so slow is there someting i can download to play my videos quicker online...thanks!!

I seen a news show a while back about the developmental problems that were common in children adopted from crappy countries like Romania, etc. They gave these children brain scans and discovered that due to severe neglect and almost no early stimulation, portions of their brains failed to develop and showed almost no activity. The pediatrician said that the child would always have some degree of impairment, even into adulthood, despite the better surroundings of their new environment. I was wondering really if these kids have a decent shot at becoming happy, well adjusted and employed adults. I only ask this because a friend's brother actually had to return an adopted kid back to his group home setting because of severe behaviour problems. The birth Mom was a substance abuser, and the child was born with chemical dependencies :-( Any experience with this????

3 men, go into a hotel, they get a room, bell boy tells them it costs $30. bell boy runs to give the money to his manager. the manager tells him that today is $5 off. bell boy brings the $5 back to the men, $1 to each men, bell boy keeps $2 tip. in actuality each men paid $9, so 9, 18, $27. the bell boy has $2, 27, $29. where did the missing dollar go. I doubt that there will be any logical explanations. I know that no money was stolen. I got this riddle from a sub.
