You want an honest answer?????
NO I haven't found my inner peace, sometimes I am afraid I may never will and I will always be as restless as I am right now.
I wish I could find a pill you can buy, take it and then u have inner peace, but I still look for the door in the sky, too, you know like the guy in the movie "The Trueman's show",haven't found it yet either. That may sound sarcastic, but allot of times I honestly wish I could find this door so I could get out of all of this, maybe I should keep on trying with the inner peace first sounds more realistic, right?
No not to me,both is far away, the inner peace and the door....
If u know how to find it please let me know.....

Mostly, yes.
I don't think permanent iner peace is possible. Even the Dalai Lama says he can become angry or upset. It's just over in a flash.
Things still do disturb me but they don't last so long.
An acceptance that life is just is what it is, working through emotional problems, (with help if need be), meditation, trying to do the right thing; all go together to peace of mind. But it isn't a permanent state. Sometimes you just have to acknowledge, right now I feel angry or sad or whatever it may be. Then you can let it go again.
Meditation on its own won't do it.
You might like to look up the Noble Eightfold Path which leads to the extinction of suffering. It's the Buddhist route to inner peace.
Good luck with your quest.

I read all these spiritual books all the time in the attempt to. I find it helps when you have your chakra energy centers balanced. You can go on forever doing different techniques thinking just one more.... But what peace really is is a state of mind. Youre the only one keeping yourself from it, I know its a challenge in this everyday anxiety ridden world to find it but I feel definitely more and more hopeful and at ease with all the reading I do about spiritual topics, man does it ever help. Getting clear wisdom about all the ways life works and the why and how about the way life works is fascinating and makes you more at ease with the way things are and all the possibilities that are available to you. Its endless what you can learn about spirituality and metaphysics really. I think one time you can ALWAYS be at peace is whenever youre reaching out to others and helping someone that needs it. It gives your life the greatest meaning.

I have found a balance - an understanding that life just is. There's no "right" or "wrong". Everything is created by us except for what is here from nature.
I suppose a perfect inner peace is the ultimate in time.

I have but I let it go again and find it whenever I really need it!! Inner peace is a state of mine that cannot last for too long, simply because if that was the case, we would never be able to recognise and appreciate it when we have it.

I think that I've almost reached it, but I don't think that it is ever completely possible. There will always remain something left unanswered. And what with the world at war??
You'll find true inner peace the day you die.

I have found the tools with which one can gain inner peace but i have a long way to travel to achieving inner peace. i practise and pray regularly and hold strong faith in my heart so from time to time i do experience a little taste of true heartfelt inner peace. its wonderful & it keeps me going, knowing that our true nature is joy, happiness, compassion and kindness!!

Yes, to a great extent I have. It comes by dwelling and meditating on all the good things in life, rather than negatives, and having gratitude. For me, gratitude to the source that gives it all, if we will only be open to it. I could say God is the source, or life, or the unverse. For some it is sufficient to simply be thankful without any particular object.

I try, but there are so many 'A' holes who pose as the righteous. And i've been through so much crap. Hard to 'keep the faith' as it were.
Thanks for asking though, I sorta had it for a while back there.
Havn't even got piece of mind now.
Up a certain creek without the proverbial correct equipment, I guess.
