In your camera kit should have been a disk on which is the software for viewing your camera images. (For example, with a Fuji camera you get a piece of software called Finepix Viewer). The viewing software should be downloaded onto your computer, then, when you connect your camera (usually via a USB cable to one of your computer USB ports) and click on the 'viewer icon' on your screen you should be able to see your images.

If your laptop is less than 2 years old, it will have a digital memory card reader built in.
Take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into the appropriate memory card reader slot on your laptop.
Then, go to "My Compuer" and look for the icon for this card. It will appear as one more hard drive.
If you open that, all your pictures will be there.
If you have an older laptop with no card slots, then you need to install the software that came with your camera.
Then attach the camera to the laptop with either the USB cable that came with it or the "FireWire" cable that came with it. All cameras come with one or the other.
Then, using the camera's software, download the pictures.
It might be a good idea to get an AC adapter for the camera as this process just sucks the life out of the camera's batteries.
A better idea would be to purchase a memory card reader. These are quite cheap (around $30.00). It plugs into a USB port and works the same as a built in reader.

Use the cable from your cam and connect it to your pc usb port. Window will detect the cam as a moveable device in windows explorer. You can use any graphic apps to view the pics. Just double-click on the pic or open the app and browse to the device.
