I recently overcame a battle with severe depression. The only reason I delayed treatment was because of the stigma attached to this disease. I honestly want to know why people need to suffer through this when in reality it is such a simple thing to solve. Same with homosexuals. I am not gay, but I can see what these people have to go through with such an ignorant society. My solution is that we become more accepting as people of one another and quit attaching such harsh stigmas to avoidable problems. Who else feels this way and has had similar experiences? Thank you for your answers and advice.

i was in a private highschool 9 & 10th grade and during the 2nd semester of my soph. year i failed horribly with only getting 5.5 credits out of a complete 7 for the year. I'm a junior and now i go to a public high school down the street and since public schools do not count religion credits i am stuck at a 4.5 credits i earned last year. I am not doing bad at all, i have A's and B's and i turn in all of my homework mostly. The teachers are splendid and in my case a lot better than the teachers i have had my two years at a private school. The students, well it's your typical 21st century styled kids, there's different cliques of course. Last year i had a bunch of friends, now i'm sitting in the back corner with my headphones in and writing down things. My mom isn't in the idea of me being homeschooled because she doesn't feel like i can do something on my own because of what had happened last year. I don't have a lot of money now so if anyone knows something high effective please share

Ok, so I have liked this girl for a while, originally a while back on the rebound, but she just had a one month relationship, and it has been over for a month. Since then we have hung out rather often with her group of friends, and last week I found myself liking her the way I had when I was rebounding. In the past week we have talked on the phone 3 times each minimum of 90 minutes. Though I see that as a sign that she likes me at least a little, I am not seeing as much body language, I mean, she gets close to me, but I dont know, her friends are always there.. are there any other signs? should I act on this now? how should I act? please help this is really eating me up inside. my mother was my dads mistres he had 3 boys with his wife and 2 kids with my mother.he left befor i was born and never herd from him untill i was 22 when he wanted to play daddy i told him to kiss my azz.he didnt want us befor so why now.he told my mom when i was born tht i wasnt his because i was a girl some family members told me i was wrong to keep him my life.but i look at it this if we didnt meen any thing to him befor why should i let him in now.he was a drunk and abused my mother,he didnt just leave my family he left his other family too.he said he was going to visit his brother for 2 weeks but never came back .this has been my biggest nightmare.i would wake up and start crying becaues i would dream that he was coming back.i have since moved away and so has my mother and he still found us.

ok im 14 and im under alot of stress ok well this year has been a crapy year i hate it i have so many assingments and iv been teased i had a major fight with my friends and alot of other **** has happend like my grandad going into hospilte my mum has been down there to look after my nan and my sister has been acting like mum I HATE IT she tells me 2 do every thing and it pisses me off i try to tell her to stop but she doesnt i cry alot but not around people becuse i dont like to let people see me cry i yell at her and scream i feel like i wanna kill her but i cant im a mess i shake and im very self consuse IM ALSO UGLY i no i am but my friends and family say im not but the guys say i am what can i do i love my sister but i cant handle this stress any more!!!! I know Los Angeles is considered to be the film capital of the U.S. but NYC also has a lot of film. However, there are more prominent in theater and some TV. Thus, bringing me to the question, which place would it be "easier" to get an agent for screenwriting? Furthermore, aside from schools such as NYU, USC, UCLA, is there any schools in the LA or NY area that would be beneficial to go to and that are still a lot cheaper than those other schools? NYFA in either LA or NY perhaps? What internships can you take that will help in screenwriting? Thank you.
