when Jesus teaches to give twice as much as is asked, never expect it to be paid back, and not to charge any interest on it?

Interesting question. It seems that Jesus was talking in specific situations when he said these things.

He does not want everyone to give away everything they have. However, he does not want us to make money our God either. He told the rich young ruler to sell all he had and give it away but he was not saying that all people should do that. He said this because the man thought he was perfect and Jesus was showing him one area that he did not measure up. He was making money his God instead of the real God.

A Christian can be a banker if he puts God first and treats other people well. He should love God more than the money or anything else.

A banker don't need to charge any interest, expect it to be paid back, and not give twice as much as is asked.

On the other hand, if you just a mere bank employee, you will be like the tax taker that want to meet Jesus.

First of all it is not the banker, but the bank, giving the money. Secondly, if you really believe that could you lend me five bucks plz.

I prefer the saying give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, feed him for a life. There comes a time when everyone must learn fiscal responsibility to survive. I make people pay me back for this very reason. If you just give them money they never learn to buy what they can afford, or live within there means.

We don't know if Jesus really said that. The King James version of the bible was written by Catholic Monks about the year 400. They translated previously written Bible versions that no one is allowed to see. There is much speculation that they threw in a few verses for themselves. Wouldn't you, if you were re-writing the rule book? If you're a Christian banker (Jesus wasn't) just do what all the rest of the banks do.
