The upper end of a straight ladder is leaning against the vertical side of a building, with its lower end on a horizontal sidewalk. To the consternation of the painter standing on it, the upper end is slipping down the wall at a constant rate of 2 feet/sec. The lower end is, therefore, sliding along the sidewalk. Having had a course in the Calculus, the painter is, of course, interested in how fast the lower end is moving. If the ladder is 29 feet long, how fast is the lower end moving when the upper end is 20 feet above the ground?

so yeah my boyfriend and I had been together for a year and five months. he has treated me poorly at times due to his selfishness and immaturity but we did have some good times. for the past month we have been fighting on and off but it was getting better and then he started a fight n in order to win it he broke up with me n then the nxt day came begging back apologizing and saying all this stuff. I'm not going to type it up becuase it is too personal. However, now a week later...I am missing him very much. I haven't missed him up till yesterday. Now I find myself wanting him back even though I told him there's no chance of that happening. What should I do?

My son turned 2 in September. We got him a potty chair on his birthday and he sits on it with his clothes on. This was suggested by the manufacturer as a way to get them used to sitting on the chair. He doesn't tell me when he has to pee or poop yet and maybe I'm jumping the gun to want to start now. I went to a party the other night, and got well too drunk. there was this guy there how i have really liked for ages but he has got a girl friend. but that didnt stop us from kissing the other night, and i mean it wasnt just one kiss we was making out for like an hour.
And now i just think it was because we was both drunk, and now im dreading seeing him in college.
Dont know wat to do
should i just let it go and aviod him?

On Thursday night, I went out with this really great girl whom I met on JDate.com. She's 24, I'm 25 and she is a h.s. art teacher while studying for her Masters in ESL ed. I also work m-f 9-6 with an hour's commute. Anyway, we had a really good time and by the time we left, we had already mentioned a few times that we'd like to see each other again. When we left each other, her eyes lit up a bit and she said, "Yeah! Absolutely! I'd really like that. Yeah, I really would like that." So, I called her yesterday around 5 and asked her if she'd like to go out again. When we first started talking, she said again that she'd had a great time, asked what's up and I asked her if she'd like to meet up again. She said she really would but knows she's gonna be very busy and has to see what her schedule is like. If not this week, then maybe the following week. Isn't that a while for someone to want to see another person they SAY they had a great time with? The schedule bit is the oldest in the book.

This defenately is not true they have been together sinse highschool.She is his highschool sweet heart.HE probably loves her very much. Tehy even have a son. Why would he beat her and they have kids and a life together.Daddy would never do a cruel thing like that. He looks like a very sweet person. The two of them probably are a good couple.She probably does love him. Ten years ago he was 19.So they have been marrieed for a long time. And she had to get to know him first so add on a few more years. They love each other and I know it. Who ever started that rumor is just hatin on DAddy's relationship with his wife. They should leave him alone because theyy know he would never hurt her.
