From birth to age 5. Children this age are learning an astronomical amount of information. They learn how to socialize with others, respond to facial cues, understand and then express speech and language, develop concepts of math and spacial relationships, begin to understand concepts about themselves, learn some self-help skills, and develop their gross and fine motor skills. This is the most important time in a child's life, and the time when the most development and learning occurs. FROM THE TIME THAT THEY ARE BORN UNTIL ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD.
When they want something put it out of their reach, but let them see where it is . Sit back, turn the T.V. off and watch them go! You canpractically see their little brain working out how they can reach it.
