Since the ACLU was formed to be a watchdog group to protect the Bill of Rights, why would you want it destroyed? The constitution tells us as individuals what we owe the government in order to co-exist. The Bill of Rights tells the government what we as individuals can and must expect from them. The ACLU states as follows:

The ACLU seeks to defend and extend individual freedoms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. These include:

* Freedom of speech, assembly and religion

* Separation of church and state

* Due process

* Equal protection under the law for all people

* Reproductive rights

* Freedom from unreasonable search and seizure

* Fair treatment by government

Yikes, watch out the ACLU might...protect your rights to attend church.

I used to feel as you do about the ACLU, but changed my mind because although some of their positions seem outrageous at first, they actually support fundamental American values.
Some day, you are going to have a first hand exposure to governmental small mindedness by some idiot bureaucrat who wants to arrest you because he doesn't like something you say or do.
And the ACLU will be 100% behind you in fighting that brown shirt idiot.
Saying that you want to destroy the ACLU is like saying you want to burn the flag. Wait a minute . . . this is America. . . you can say or do EITHER of those two things!

Form a band, arm yourselves, go after every member, employee, element. Then proceed with homocidal force. And when a newly elected, or created entity that calls itselfi the "aclu"forms? Repeat step one.

Well, for starters you could join the Ku Klux Klan--they've wanted to destroy the ACLU for a long, long time.

Other than trying to get conservative judges and other elected officials, hardly anything. You could do some research and start a blog, maybe something would come of it.

I am not sure, but if you figure it out...let me know! I think the group started out doing the right thing, but now they just seem hell bent on shoving the far-left ideology down our throats.
