I've been on it twice. I am the world's biggest, truest fan of Walt Disney World, and I love all the attractions and try to ride them all each time I go, but honestly... I can't always build up the courage to go on this ride. The first time I went to Walt Disney World in 1997 I was too scared to ride Splash Mountain, but for some reason decided to go on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. I was so scared. The first drop is just awful if you're not really sure what to expect and are only riding because you got a sudden spur of fearlessness. I was nearly crying. In fact, I may have been, but I don't really remember. In the picture they took during the first drop, you couldn't even see me because I was behind my uncle somehow. I was so scared. So, anyway, the summer before last I went back to Walt Disney World for my first time since and rode it again. And as soon as I buckled into the seat my eyes filled with tears. I was so nervous, it was uncontrollable. The first drop is the worst because you drop almost all the way down, but after that it's not that bad. And by the end of the ride I was shaking, but laughing hysterically. This past summer I didn't go on it, though. I was nervous, but the lines were really long anyway, so that's my excuse. ; )

It's an awesome ride, though, and definitely worth trying it at least once. I can't wait to go back in the summer and try it again. The theming is incredible, and the uniforms that the Cast Members wear, the Bell Hop uniforms, are the most expensive of all the Cast Member uniforms - they cost almost $2,000 each.

This ride is a complete blast. I wish it would last longer, but all things must come to an end I guess. Yeah, there is a motor that attaches to the elevator to bring it up and down. They have the elevator on a random 7 program thing so you never know which sequence you are going to get.

Maybe, it's not 7, but it's around there. You will buckle your seat because the ride will take you out of it really. It's called air time on roller coastes. It's moves that quick.

I love the tower of terror! Last time i was there, i went on it twice in one day. The theming is great. Its always fun to try to catch the view from the drop when u drop. Tower of Terror is one of my favorite rides.

I liked it and every ride is a little different but its sort of subtle. Sometimes drops are easy other times they feel very extreme. I don't know whether it depends on the particular elevator or just random controls during the ride. I love to try and get the split second on top of the park view ... but ya gotta focus real quick and then its gone. As for the FL parks, all are packed during the summer or holidays when everyone has off. Always try to advise people to pick those off peak times, it's the difference between waiting 90 + min or 10 - min. yeah 2 hours of wait 30 seconds of fun ... not priceless.

The Tower of Terror is a very fun thrill ride. The elevator is designed to drop faster than the force of gravity, so any loose articles will appear to float whenever the elevator drops. I try to ride this attraction at every opportunity.

Its the BEST, i never heard the hype so it didnt have anything to live up to. Didnt think it was scary just the drop you get in your stomach and exciting thrill we had a fairly short queue and the fact that only a small bar holds you in adds to the horror.

This happens to be one of my favorite rides. I love the freefall feeling and while I was there, I took a lot of first-timers. It's best if you go during the off-season because the line is shorter.
