What effect do you think an increased alcohol tax would have on drinks particularly drunk by under 25s in UK?

"A tax on alcoholic beverages that are particularly consumed by under-25s is reportedly being considered as a means to curb "excessive drinking". Discuss the likely impact of such a tax with reference to the predictions and limitations of neoclassical analysis. Would you support this tax?"

Basically we have been dating for 6 years and recently she asked me for a break because she was unhapy. I argued with her but after a few times of her asking i said fine take it. During the break i said no contact at all but she sent me text messages saying she missed me and a long email about how she cant live without me. So after a week break we got back togethor and even though she now wants to get engaged and married and keeps telling me how much she loves me and misses me i still have in the back of my mind that she doesn't want to be in the relationship. What do you think?

Serious answers only please! Im only 24 years old. My sister is 6yrs old she is very neglected by my mother. So I took her in and is now living with me and my two kids. They fight so much. I want to be a good sister and mother but I feel like all im doing is yelling all the time and putting them in time out. We are all living in a small 2 bedroom house. I cant afford anything else. I dont have much help from family. Everyone (including my mother) left town to find work elsewhere. Any Suggestions? or good books to read? Their future depends on me. I want to be a good rol model for them. I want them to grow up to be strong independent women like me. I also want to teach my son to be a good man. He has no father. Im mom and dad to my kids.

I have a shih-zhu/pomeranian mix and he just will not stop jumping on me and trying to bite me every time I move. He's always in my face! I give him PLENTY of attention, and he just wants more, more, more. He just won't leave anyone alone and it's really embarassing when I have company over. If someone tries to push him away, he thinks they are playing. How can I make him just calm down? The people at the place I bought him from said that he would be a calm dog, but he's not.

I seem to worry about things a lot, mostly daft things but it keeps me awake all night sometimes. I'm having a legal dispute with a builder just now and everytime theres a development I just cant stop thinking about it.
My job involves enforcement and issuing fines etc. and while I'm on the job I take **** from no-one, but later worry about how they feel (even though they got themselves into the situation).
I've even worried about some of the folk on 'Answers' who are going through a hard time.
How can I stop this and toughen up?

Women used to have an ironing day after the wash day until "wash and wear" was invented. Not to allow women the best material invented for clothing is a crime. Why are men allowed cotton/polyester, but not women? I have seen women looking all over during a sale for these blouse and SOL.

I asked her to be my maid of honor and she said would attend only if my fiancee got an annulment. I told her it was unfair and we argued, it got heated and although we apologized to one another have not spoken or contacted each other in months. It is now getting near the time I will be sending invitations. My fiancee did go through with an annulment but I didn't tell my friend, I didn't want her to think that it had anything to do with her because it didn't. My question is after all of this should I still invite her to attend?
