Well,In my opinion, you may win the argument but you lose a lot more than you gain.In the Bible it says forgive and you will be forgiven, show mercy and you will obtain mercy. Our life down here isn't to prove whether we are right or wrong but to lead people to the Kingdom of God.And we do so by everything including our actions.By demonstrating patients others learn how to be patient.Remember in the Bible it states in Luke 6 Ver.20-49 how we are to respond to certain circumstances.Take care and May God Bless You.

Are you talking about compromising morals or compromising about about your hair style? Relationships survive on compromise. Even if you are lucky enough to be "equally yoked", you still have to learn to compromise.

You do not have to compromise your views. But you always have to use the following principle:

"Diplomacy is when you send somebody to hell in such a fashion that they are actually are looking forward to the trip."

You cannot compromise your morals.

You can compromise in other areas of life though!

Are you asking if it's okay to argue with God? If so, then yes. It's okay to argue with Him. He wants us to communicate with Him. He's not going to send you to hell for having an opinion. He wouldn't have given us free will if He didn't want us to have our own minds. He ultimately wants us to obey, but it's okay if we voice our feelings.

You cant compromise if it is against God (Sin).
If it is not against God then it can be ego.
But also remember we all need happiness and we need to be happy first to make others happy.

Like, arguing about whose turn it is to take out the trash? What to do, what to do?!?!?
