Historical records show the incidents in the above story hapenned in 1284AD. Wasn't Pied Piper right in taking children out of the selfish world in which their parents live? If Pied Piper was cruel he would have killed the children then and there. But he did not do that.

I have been dating an awesome woman for a few months. I love her SOOO much and she tells me she loves me. Everything was PERFECT. WAS, that is. when i started talking to my girlfriend she told me that she was bisexual which i thought would be awesome. i was into the idea of threesomes but now that i am in love with her they seem out of the question. I am extremely jealous when it comes to this person and our veiws on cheating are apparantly very different. i think cheating means doing anything with someone else that you wouldnt do in front of your significant other and she believes that only sex is cheating. Well the other night we all decided that we were gonna have some fun and drink (all except for my gf) and i was having a good ole time until i looked over to my left and say my girlfriend making out with another one of my female freinds. I have talked to her and i feel that i cant satisfie all her needs but i dont wnna lose her. I NEED her. she didnt believe that that was cheating.

I separated from my husband of 3.5 years last month. He has cheated on me twice (that I know about), and the final straw was that he was lying to me about attending college classes that I ultimately paid for. We have a 1 year old son, and another kid on the way, and he has never really stepped up to the plate for them, either.
I wrote him a letter 2 weeks ago, basically telling him that I need him to be faithful, to be the head of our household, to take care of me and our kids... basic marriage/family stuff- nothing extrodinary, or that shouldnt be expected from anyone married. The following day he told me that he couldnt do the things I asked for in the letter, and that he believed we hadnt been happy for years and that he just wants his son to have 2 happy parents, so he said it was over. I accepted this- if he doesnt want to put effort in, then its not worth it for me. Today he asked me for another chance, and said he said those things so he wouldnt hurt me anymore. I think im done

The Month After Christmas
"Twas the month after Christmas, and all through the house
Nothing would fit me, not even a blouse.
The cookies I'd nibbled, the eggnog I'd tasted
At the holiday parties had gone to my waist.
When I got on the scales there arose such a number!
When I walked to the store (less a walk than a lumber).
I'd remember the marvelous meals I'd prepared;
The gravies and sauces and beef nicely rare,
The wine and the rum balls, the bread and the cheese
And the way I'd never said, "No thank you, please."
As I dressed myself in my husband's old shirt
And prepared once again to do battle with dirt---
I said to myself, as I only can "You can't spend a winter disguised as a man!"
So--away with the last of the sour cream dip,
Get rid of the fruit cake, every cracker and chip
Every last bit of food that I like must be banished
'Til all the additional ounces have vanished.
I won't have a cookie--not even a lick.

Any kid who wants to buy a candy bar or comic book gets to pay taxes, but doesn't get to vote. Isn't this what the Boston tea party was about?

Trickles of undiluted rainbow.
Syrupy.
He said ‘yes.’
Yes.
Euphoria
Ecstasy
It’s something
That should be contained in a capsule
A fine powder
Not filtered through veins
Dense,
Jingling,
Bursting out of pores
Swilling in the pale
Summery
Reggae light.
They should
Ration
It.
My God.
He said ‘yes.’
Knocked about by
Filthy beautiful colours
Dusted over the endless pavements,
The smiles of homeless people.
Sighs.
You want to squeeze the happiness
Out of your eyes
And infect into the sky.
Fill the world with the imminent buzz
Of everything.
Sameness, oneness.
Yes, different. But all the same.
‘Yes.’
F*ck,
Yes.

I have a microphone mounted near fluorescent bulbs (and needs to stay there) and the sound of the electricity buzzing is being picked up in the mic and relayed through the speakers. I understand many fluorescents tubes make a slight buzzing sound when turned on, but is there a way to mask that sound?

The head of the mic is about a foot and a half away from the two bulbs and the mic wires have to hang over the fixture as well.
