well the kids are asking for things that i dont have the money for well i know in my heart if we are all together for christmas that should do it i think cloth and a roof over there head food to eat should do it there is people out there that have more problems then us so what do you thing should i get them something small and will do it or get my self in more sh*t and hope to god that we make it for the rest of the year on dreams

Buy the presents in say january or february when there is an overstock of items that are marked down. Alternatively chrisco has packages that suit children's parents and if you get in early the payments are not too much

Do what I do, buy early, I buy gifts like in MARCH!
I save too, for the items I want later in the year.
Collect bottles for the full year, turn them in every month and save.
If you cant afford gifts, then you cant afford gifts, who knows what next year will bring...it could be way worse, maybe go the dollar store? Or even a pawn shop.
