Okay I have tons of problems at home. We're always yelling at each other and nobody knows how to solve their problems in a decent way, including me.
I'm scared that when I get married and have kids, it will be my story repeated all over again- a nutjob house. I don't want that to happen but my mother is always telling me that the way you were raised is the way you were going to treat your kids.
I don't want this to happen! I don't want to fight with my future husband and children, but I also don't want to be stepped on! What should I do?

II had my hair done at a salon yesterday. it was supposed to be dark blonde with highlights. my hair is natural dirty blond and i had a couple highlights in it. i wanted to go one shade darker for winter -- well it came out brown!! How can I get it back to dirty blond b/c I look hideous!! ive been crying. Everyone says they like it, but i cannot go back to a salon..i already paid a $115 for it and i dont have much more money since i am a college student.

I am away studing abroad for college till around Christmas. When I went home for thanksgiving my entire familys dynamics have changed. One reason for this is that my brother and I both live hours away from my parents, while my sister is still local. She just broke up with her boyfriend so everyone is very accomodating.
However, she has gotten out of control.

On the ride home from the airport, my sister was yelling and scolding my our mother because of how she drives. My sister yells at my dad because of he doesnt want to give her money. She yells at me and my brother because we are loud during her television show.

I feel that she has taken this too far. She has become a tyrant in my parents house. I feel less respect towards my parents because they let her act this way. I have lost respect for my sister because she is rude, snobby and selfish. Is there anyway to save Christmas?

I am being harrassed by a telemarketer. I have begged, been nice and been really nasty to get them to stop calling. It is an online pharmacy company that I once ordered from 2 years ago. This is my cell phone they are calling and it does cost me money. I refuse to change my number to stop the harrassment. I don't feel that I should have to do that. Of course, I could not answer my phone but I don't feel I should have to do that either since I pay for my phone service and they have not been invited to call. My question is....Is it illegal for me to get an air horn and blow their eardrums up everytime they call? Nothing else has worked and I am at my wits end.

I am in my first year as a pre-pharm. transfer at a private university, and have not yet begun the four year Pharm D. program. It seems that if I go through the program at the school I attend now, I will have accumulated a great deal of loans compared to the cost of tuition for a public university program.

Does anyone have any advice or experience in going to a private vs. a public university? Is private school really worth it?

this is mine and my boyfriends first kid and both of us are scared and nervous. so if anyone has any advice about anything, we would really love it. i know i'm ready to be a mother, i've always loved kids and have always wanted my own kids and i know my boyfriend will be a good father cuz he's soo good with kids. but i'm still scared and nervous that i won't be a good mother or that i'll mess something up or that something will go wrong. so if anyone has any advice on what to expect or advice on anything, i would love it. thanx.
