Two late payments (90 day & 30 day) to the Philadelphia gas company (PGW) had negative impact on my credit history. This is the only bad thing on my score. I am applying for mortgage in 10 days and would like this problem to be fixed & removed prior.

1) Can it be removed in a matter of days? (Less then 10)
2) Should I call/ write the gas company or the credit bureau?
3) What EXACTLY should I say/ write when I call the company/ credit bureau?

I REALLY want to quit smoking - but it's the hardest struggle of my life. The gum is disgusting, zyban makes me twitch, the patch is itchy, and cold turkey turns me into a mega-*****. I just want to hear a real-life person who has had a hard time quitting and how they overcame that.

I have a NTL D5800SE when I am on the phone it bleeps twice constantly then disconnects me, after reading the manual it says I am too near the base but this is not the case. I no longer have a the reciept so the shop won,t replace it, can anyone tell me what could be wrong and how to resolve this problem.

One more question for you guys. I've had these extremely dry patches coming up on the tops of my hands, only in certain areas for two or three years now. They look similar to Eczema, but they don't itch at all. They also seemingly pop up over night and start as a little red, dry, flacky spot no more than 1/4 an inch in diameter although they arent perfectly round. From that they spread in a matter of weeks and my biggest is almost an inch in diameter now--however once it gets that big it usually stops growing. They flake and look terrible and some have lasted for years, some only a few months. Ive got a new one popping up today and for some reason, they only affect areas on the tops of my hands where my digits bend, never in the nonjointed areas. Anyone have a similar condition? I showed them to my doctor but he barely even looked at them and said they were eczema (but he was to busy typing my symptoms in to WebMD so I didn't expect much from him anyway). Thanks for your help!

We broke up in September, she broke my heart and I was hurting for over a month straight. In October I completely cut off communication with her. But then, November came around, and next thing one of her friends adds me to MSN. She starts telling me how my ex misses me so much and thinks about me everyday. Then, it happens, she finally adds me on MSN again, starts to tell me things about how I was good to her, how I made her happy and everything. Then she goes on saying how we might have a chance to get back together. We have been talking for almost 2 weeks now and everything seemed to go good, but yet we'd still fight sorta like we did before. Anyways, I just find out this morning that her best friend told her to just move on from me. Im like WTF? I thought her friend was giving me advice to get back with her! And now she is saying she wants to cut ties and to move on! I cant believe this! Once again I get hurt. What is she doing!? I need some advice here.

I have cheated and been busted in the past. My GF is insanely jealous, probably bc she can not trust me because of what i have done in the past. Is there any way to salvage the relationship and am i doomed to repeat the same mistake again. Her jealousy makes me want to be free, and then i have to lie to cover my tracts. I am 6 months pregnant and already have 2 little children... so I'm tired... but I don't know if this is the reason for my stupid comments all the time. I do stupid crap at work that makes me come off as not knowing what I'm doing when I really do. Like asking my supervisor a question when I have the answer right in front of me... and while I'm asking him, I realize... there it is! Or, forgetting to make changes to an entire section of a drawing because I'm in a hurry and then it just looks like I didn't know I was supposed to.... It pisses me off!! Is it because I'm tired, or that I'm having brain farts because I'm pregnant, or am I just an idiot?

I am looking for something like the Bundt cake mix that was available in the 80's. All I can find now are the Pillsbury Cook-off varieties that say you must use nuts. The mix had no nuts.
