I am at a crossroads in my life.

I have just started a new job that I do not like. I defintely know that I want to change jobs.

But, in the back of my mind I have another issue to resolve. My child lives with my ex husband in another state. She is 14. I was thinking of going to visit her for a few days.

I asked my daughter and she suggested that I come over Christmas. I could do that, but then I would have to put my job search on hold or delay the start date.

She does not want to come and visit me for Christmas. I have visitation over Christmas per the divorce decree, but my ex has never followed it.

She came to stay with me this past summer after I have been in another state for 3 years. My ex and her came last Christmas for about 10 days.

My ex and I had thought about getting back together, but I don't think it will work out. He says that I am not "marriageable material' and am messed up. He also says that I am the most selfish person he knows.

my friend is a 23 yr- old male. recently he has been gettin on again off again high fevers. abnomanal pains around the kidneys, upset stomachs, and his left arm, fingers, and cheek and tounge go numb off and on. we went to an ER, he has no insurance, and they ran tests, they said he had a kidney stone but he must of already passed it or he has one to small to detect, they also said he has some sort of viral infection from the fevers. they didnt give him anything and sent him home. he is still having alot of pain and still gettin off and on again fevers and numbness, does anyone have any idea as to what this might be?

Im 14 weeks pregnant, and up till now my partner and I were getting on great. However, yesterday he said he needs a bit of space as we have been together 24 hours a day for the last few days (Ive been off work). I have taken it really personally and feel he doesn't want me or our baby around him. I have nowhere to go as I dont't live near my friends and have no family, and am feeling really isolated and insecure. I know he does love me and gets like this sometimes. do u think Im over reacting because of the pregnancy hormones or am i justified in feeling upset? I don't know what to do?

I was w/ my boyfriend for nearly three years. We have had a few problems as w/ any other couple. The problem is, he talked about getting engaged for months. I always wanted it to happen but, his mother who is terminally ill cannot stand me because I'm only 20, and even now when she is dying she has told her son who is 33, that she will withdraw him from her will if he marries me. So I dunno what's going on but it's like now we have to meet in secret. However, the other day, we got married but are still living apart so his mom and sisters won't find out. Now he is telling me maybe it was a mistake and is thinking about getting it anulled. I am pissed to the limit as now there is even a possibility that I'm pregnant. What is going on???

Correct me if I am wrong, but would not a true atheist not even care about God any more that they would care about the urban legends like ghost hitch-hikers?
Deists HAVE TO ABIDE THAT EVOLUTION IS TAUGHT IN SCHOOL, but the thought of God being taught (when it is our founding documents and our country was based on CHRISTIANITY), is so terrible.

Zip disks are handy for doing routine backup of genetal documents such as Word and Excel files, unlike CD-R's where after one use they are done and just have to be thrown away.

I had a zip drive with my old G4, but some people give the latest model of the Zip 100 bad reviews. Should I get it or not? I already have plenty of Zip Disks.

My daughter is 4 yrs. old and she is also mixed with Puerto-Rican, Dominician and Haitian. She has really curly hair and it is also very dry and freezy. She wants to keep her hair out sometimes but the problem is that it does not look good because it freezes up. I have not used any adult shampoo's on her hair because I am not sure what is best too use on a 4 yr old.

I have tried the Johnsons products and they do not work.. Could someone please help me..

Honestly... do they? I don't think my manhood should be questioned, manipulated or put on trial every 16 seconds. Running into road blocks like this make for awkward and excrutiating dates/hang outs for me. I've mentioned before I either don't respond or respond negatively to this kind of ignorant criteria of evaluation. For instance, many times women Ive been with bring out their bitchy attitudes, and I often get the vibe its deliberate to see how I'll react. If I ignore it they assume I'm being submissive or weak and "walk all over me". If I turn into a Neanderthal and call them out on it they either become vindictive about it or turn submissive themselves and play it off, only to do it again moments later. Im open for rapport but I often cant make it past this initial stage without getting frustrated at their aloof giggling and manipulation, whether it shows openly or not. If women delibrately do this, what are some suggestions to get past this? Or are there mature women out there?
