An Indian chief wanted to know what the weather was going to be for the upcoming winter so he called the weather service. They said they expected colder than normal, so the chief told the tribe to collect dead wood to store. A month later the chief called the weather service to get an update, they said for sure it was going to be colder than normal. So the chief told the tribe to cut down any dead trees they could find. A month later, November, the chief called the weather service to get another update. The weather service said, "There is no doubt about it - it is definately going to be colder than normal." The chief asked them how they were so sure. They answered, "Are you kidding? The Indians are collecting fire wood like madmen!"
