Have you tried replacing the battery? It worked for one of ours. Unfortunately, the quality of the last three phones we bought give results similar to yours. We have a big box of "retired" phones out in the garage.

Panasonic tends to have less problems with this, but the last panasonic we bought is out in the box, too.

Sounds like it is time for you to buy another one, this time keep up with the receipt, I wish I had kept the receipts for ours.

It sounds like the battery is dead. Have you thought about replacing the battery? My old cordless phone would do that too when the battery was dying. It would beep a couple times and then shut off.
