yea she is a little girl she had it and i was holding her.. i thought it had all been treated. her mother has been trying to rid her of it. but it came back

Unfortunately you chances are much higher to have them then not. Go to a drugstore and there is this type of hair shampoo it is called rit. You will also need to vaccum your house very throughly as well as remove your bed sheets and vaccum the matress. Clothing that you had on when holding her and anything next to it will need to be washed. It can take up to 5 days for the eggs to hatch and believe me it is not fun. I had it when I was a little girl and just remember the hell my mom had to go through to get rid of them. Also vaccum your car as well, people don't think of that but you will need to chances are the little critters are in there is well. Sorry to hear that, but hopefully you won't but extra precautions are a good idea.

Just to be safe, go to the drug store (any in your area)and they have specific shampoo for lice and use as directed on box. Its better to be safe than sorry

i would say by today, keep checking and use a lice comb if you want to look even deeper, wash your clothes and bedding to be safe - has the person with lice taken care of their problem?
