My friends father died this year and he left him some 401k, and if he rolls it out, it is taxed 20% for federal taxes and then another 10% since he is not 59 1/2. Is it taxed once again on his taxes this year?

My boss forgot to tell the guest speaker for our breakfast meeting this morning that the meeting was cancelled. She showed up at the restaraunt where we were supposed to meet and the doors were locked. She called the office and left a message on our answering machine that she didn't know what to do. When he called her he apologized profusely but still feels very bad about not notifying her. He found out later that she was on personal leave as well and was going to speak at our meeting anyway. He's afraid if he tries to send a gift to her house she may not be home because she took leave for the holidays. Any suggestions on what he can do to make up?

Me and my husband have had our bull terrier for 2 years now. she gets yeast ear infection all the time. Our vet gave us anti-biotics and we switched her diet to eating only fresh food we made with no perseratives. our vet also switch her heart wom because that too had artificial flavor. It was good for a couple of months but now her ear infections back. I can't keep going to the vet every three months like this and paying hundreds of dollars. Has anyone else had this happen? If so what did you do?

Hi i just turned 20 and have been married a year just about to my hubby who is 24 years old going on 25. We dated 5 months before getting engaged the 6 th month and married the next week in vegas. I am still in college and he wants to start a family wants our first child now!He has been hasseling me non stop about having kids.He also wants me to stay home with them and be a stay at home mom.There seems to be no comprimise with him . Recently i bumped into and old friend and we had lunch and i realized that i dont feel like myself when i am with my hubby. I thought the second thoughts i had before the wedding were cold feet now i am not so sure.?

I have always preferred my middle name and found out recently from my mum that I was actually always meant to be known by it (not quite sure why i wasn't then but never mind!).

I am also getting married next year and my middle name goes much better with my soon-to-be married name.

I'm very tempted to make the change and start using my middle name.

Anyone else done this? How did people react to it? Are you now known by your new name, or did everyone just say you were mad and ignore it?

I am a teacher who directs the students in a straight (as in not musical) play. I really want to continue to learn about theater but have only found one really good sounding workshop and that is at Macomb Community College near Detroit. Has anyone attended that program or know of a program for technical theater for adults?

Im due 4 my period on the 25th is it to early to test? And... I spotted maybe 2 weeks ago.. Spotting as in light blood. I only noticed it when i wiped it was never on my underwear.. Im nt on and birth control and i am 27 yrs of age... Is spotting a sign of pregnancy? Im am not educated in Pregnancy so i thought it was worth asking.. Thanks.

Male friend of over a decade ago , lets call him Dan, calls unsuspectedly and tells me he used to have a bad crush on me. It was obvious from the phone call he never got over it. I always knew but never led him on. We were more like best friends. Today he has never married and has no kids. I'm married with children. My marriage is a disaster but he doesn't know that, I don't think?! We are miles away from each other. For now I hope to work on my marriage and really don't know what the future holds. I do know that Dan is a wonderful guy, well a man now, with strong values and really deserves someone without a past and someone that can correspond him like he deserves. I know I'm not the one for him and even if I thought I was... I'm taken, so to speak. I'm glad to hear from my "friend" I have actually missed that friendship. I am flattered but uncomfortable to hear about his crush because I can't correspond. What would you do about this without losing a wonderful friend?

I looked in the mirror yesterday and had a large bump on my forehed. When I squeeze it clear liquid comes out. I am pretty sure its a cyst. This has happened to me twice before and it alsways clears up on its own. I am going out of town to meet my new inlaws and I need to know how to get rid of this ASAP.
