Help! Forehead Cyst?

Question

I looked in the mirror yesterday and had a large bump on my forehed. When I squeeze it clear liquid comes out. I am pretty sure its a cyst. This has happened to me twice before and it alsways clears up on its own. I am going out of town to meet my new inlaws and I need to know how to get rid of this ASAP. Now it is starting to look like a scab, Can anyone help please

That does not sound like a cyst but a pimple. I get small cysts on my face but inside them are like small little white balls. Sounds gross but they are very small and they eventually open up and go away. Try some salycilic acid. (spelling might be wrong) It works pretty quick. Good luck. And im sure the inlaws arent going to judge you because you have a pimple on your forehead.

The quickest fix I have found for these that won't leave you peeling horribly is applying salicylic acid based spot gel ointment. My favorite is Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Spot Gel. (I hope it is okay to give brand names here!) I use it as soon as I even feel a tiny bump under my skin.
BTW, salicylic acid is what aspirin is made of. It works so well because it reduces the inflammation and the redness at the site very quickly. You already have a scab. That's kinda bad but those don't last for too long. Don't pull it off. Let it fall off by itself or you might end up with a worse scar there. Picking is never recommended however I find that if a cyst/zit has already come to a head squeezing secretions out tends to help it heal quicker especially if I follow up with my spot gel. The best thing to do is to apply the spot gel "on the spot." Pun intended. As soon as you see or feel a bump under your skin apply it there. You'll even forget you had something there and you may never have a blemish like this again. Good luck! Lots of experience here with acne and cysts.
BTW, this spot gel won't bleach out your clothes like the benzoid peroxide stuff and won't cause you to peel. A little goes a long way. The tiny tube will last you for a LONG time. In case you are interested I wash my face with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser also salicylic acid based. (Really, your in laws won't care, probably won't notice. But I know you do. I'm not sure if you will be able to get away from the scab look. I would suggest putting some antibiotic ointment or creme on it to help it heal. You could try a clay mask to help draw out the impurities. Good luck! Have a great trip!

Ouch!! Not a good spot for a cyst to start to forming.. You may need to go see a dermatologist, to get it "Lanced", my sister had to get one lanced once, to see if it was malignant.
