Reccently my husband lost temper with his grandson who is 16. He hit him several times. We talked, and he said he was sorry and would not let additude get in the way of judgement again.

For the past while it hasn't been a problem, or so I thought. Today, my granddaughter - who is not living with us - approached me with the concern that my husband was hitting my 16-year-old-grandson.

I asked her why he didn't say anything, and she replied, "Cause when Dad lived with us, Dad hit him all the time and nothing was ever done 'till I told you."

Then here's the real kicker - he was reading today and my husband took the book and hit him in the eye with it!

I can't go to his mother, his father's in prison. I'm not sure what to do, any advice?

When i upgraded my phone last January i signed a new contract for 12 months. I did this in an Orange store. I wanted to take up their existing customers get same deals as new customers offer but they are saying i signed up for an 18 month contract.
I have been to the store who 'promised' to find my original paperwork but haven't either phoned me to say they found it or sent me copies, the store won't return my calls (i don't live near the store anymore so can't really go back again). I've also called 150 Customer Services (who say the stores are nothing to do with them and they can't help).
Any ideas about how i can sort out my contract, who do i complain to if the store won't speak to me and its 'nothing to do with' customer services? I don't even want to stay with Orange anymore.

I'm in need of some excellent and affordable Christmas present ideas for my boy.
Let's see here...
He's a teenager who loves video games...he's obsessed with Halo and Xbox360 (owns both).
Also loves anything techonology related.
He loves bowling.
Loves listening to music on his iPod and computer.
Enjoys watching movies.
Always spending time with friends and family.
Has his own car...and loves cars.

And I think that's about it.
Anyone have any good ideas?

Help guys im scared that my cat is gonna die.Well we went to church today and when we came back .She was all wet from her hind legs i thought it was water.and now like an hour later she is acting all wierd.her ears were slanded to the sid like this <"> like if she was scared so i got a towel and covered her in it and then she went to use the restroom , i looked at the towel and it was black then i smelled it and it smelled like car oil.so what i think happened is that she sat or fell in some oil and then licked it off ,thats why she is acting strange i dont want her to die.She is pregnant.and the vet is closed today.Is this gonna kill her.she is eating well but im still so scared.

there is this new eyelash curler that heats up the eye lashes to curl it. is it dangerous for the eyes? does it really works?

I have been married to my wife for 13 years and I can no longer accept her addiction to alcohol.
Psychotherapy-refused treatment.
Pharmacotherapy-receiving 300+mg cocktail of different drugs every day.
I have attempted to talk to her about her problem but she keeps getting drunk every week, drinking about 1 75cl bottle of spirits in one session. By the way, she has OCD too. Should I cut her loose? Or am I being cruel to somebody I still love? I am only 43 and am frightened that the rest of my life will be wasted looking after her.

A well known billionaire walks into a bank and declares that he would like to take out a loan. The manager, expecting good business, invites him to his office and after much niceties and all asks how much he want.
