can i get out of the lease based on health issues and first months rent returned.......wish I had seen this stuff before signing.....

First of all not all mols is toxic. You need to take a sample to your local health department. Wait on the report from the health department and then contact your landlord to talk about the lease or fixing the problem. Good luck

It might be mold. Then again it might not. It could be mycelium or another non-toxic fungus. I would have it checked out, though what I understand about commmon toxic molds, they tend to be black or brown and not fuzzy.

Probably. Consult a real estate lawyer. But is that the real reason you want out or are you looking for an excuse to get out of the deal?
