I was sharing a few beers with a single friend this weekend and I found some of his remarks funny. He mentioned how he found that in meeting women that the first interactions or dates felt like job interviews.
I too have noticed this. Before I met my fiancee' I'd find that women seemed to ask the same questions, over and over again, almost like a script. The questions always went like: Where do you live, what do you do, what's your house like. But, what I always found interesting was how often and in depth they asked about your immediate family. I.e. who your brothers and sisters were ?, what the birth order was?, whether or not you were close to your family? etc. Why is there so much emphasis on family?? Are they trying to see if you are stable and commitment ready? Any ideas??????
