does anyone know how to burn divx files on a dvd as a divx disk?

burning these files on a dvd only allows me to burn three hours of content without compressing. i want to know how to burn these files as some kind of a divx dvd to view on a divx player...

I have not done it on DVD but I did it on CDs.

You simply burn your divx file on the DVD as a data file.

There is not such thing as divx DVDs as far as I know.

It's a normal DVD with a divx file on it.

Burning it as a data file, you should be able to put 4.7GB of data on the DVD, regardless of how long it is in hours.

are you burning the divx document as is (archives format) or are you attempting to burn it on a dvd so which you would be able to watch it on a dvd participant? in case you attempt to burn it as an information document, then nero or roxio are the applicable of the line application. in case you attempt to transform the divx so which you would be able to watch it on a dvd participant, attempt dvd flick. it extremely is a loose application which could convert very just about any video document to a dvd participant (mpeg2) format.
