There's nothing wrong with being an Atheist. From what I can tell, being an Atheist or Theist has no bearing on one's level of morality.

There is a vast psychology of unconscious sin.
For example, a new believer thinks that he does not do very much wrong.
But as that believer advances in the grace of God, God enlightens him to the subtle areas of sin that he did not think existed, or things that he thought were not sins.
It is a clarification of the intellect, by God, that brings to light that which could not be seen before.
To give an analogy, suppose you went up into a dark attic, and saw it in the semi-light.
It might seem clean and well in order.
But put a 1000 watt bulb on it, and suddenly all the blemishes and dirt can be seen.
One may be moral on a certain level, but that does not mean that there are not vast layers of sin underneath that one is not aware of.
Often people think that they are OK people, but others can clearly see the personal flaws within them.

For not believing there is a God. Call me a bigot but I'm pretty sure you're not perfect and at some point in your life you have offended someone, kinda hard not to do that this day in time. If not, you've probably lied or coveted something that was your neighbors, or probably broken some other part of what's called the Law of Moses, or at least the 10 Commandments. But you don't have to take my word for it.

According to Christians, you have to beg God for forgiveness for not being perfect...for being exactly what God made you to be: Limited and fallible. You must beg forgiveness for daring to be born at all, since according to Christians all humans are monstrous, depraved creatures that by default deserve eternal punishment regardless of whether or not they do anything to anyone.
Hardly "just", "merciful", or "loving", declaring that all humanity has three strikes against it before ever coming to bat. But God will erase the rules for you if you stroke his galaxy-sized ego properly...if you do it the ONE way he likes it. Otherwise no matter how repentant you are you still fry.
When they tell you to repent your offenses against God, they really mean repent of what you do that offends THEM. Like not believing in fairy tales like they do.
What a crock.

First of all, the word repentance: today it means to feel sorry for what you did (Gk: metamelomai). In the Bible the Greek word metanoeo is used; it means to change your mind about something and has nothing to do with emotion, to admit to something, to confess. Now, your repentance, your need to change your mind about your religious belief. So you perform a lot of human good, which buys you nothing. You need to realise that the only thing left open to humanity is to recognise that Jesus Christ did all the work for you. All you have to do is to accept the fact that He is the only one Who can make you acceptable to God the Father and thereby keep you from a rather unpleasant eternity: your choice, smoking or non-smoking?

I would say that you were a liar. The Bible that you say you don't believe calls you a fool. Psalms 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. It also says that you are a liar. 1 John 1: 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

It's not your fault ...it's some of the Churches who make missy stuff to push good people like you to be an ateist.
I'm praying for you with all the love and I hope the Holy Spirit will touch your heart one day.

Well, that depends. If The Bible is right, then God created you, and as Creator and Ruler has a right to expect your allegience. By rejecting him, you commit treason.
Here's another way to look at it: If the Bible is correct, then God is the only source of Life. If you are not in connection with him, then Death is the only possible result.
In other words, it's not what you do or don't do, it's Who you know or don't know.

You have good answers for a good question. I suspect there will be change in your belief system coming to you, because you are searching for closure to the unanswered question that comes from within. Every human must willingly repent.

Perhaps the hardness of your heart?
I'm sure you are not without sin, just like me.
Do you know what it means to repent? It does not mean to ask for forgiveness, it doesn't mean to say you are sorry; it means to turn and go in the other direction.
