I'm Hispanic, i was reading the paper and it said Hispanics are the majority of NY, but there was a pie graph showed White, Black, Asian, ect and no Hispanic, under it is said"Hispanic/Latinos could go in any race", so i asked a friend and he said "hispanic is just a classification because ppl from Spain are White just that they speak Spanish" so could someone please explain this

I get canker sores fairly often. Right now, I have a huge one on my tonsils and I can barely eat! I use the Peroxyl mouth rinse, but does any know of any medicines I can put directly on the sore? Most of the medicines I have seen just numb it, but I want something to clean it out and help it heal!!

So my Grandmother in South Dakota used to make something called scalped corn. Which I think is an american derivitive for "escalloped corn". Sure I've seen versions but I am wondering how it is made....... it had cans of cream corn, maybe some whole corn, milk and saltine crackers. I'm thinking there is someone who knows how to make it!

I went through my girls phone the other day and found a text from a male friend of hers stating "I am on da way.. u got rubbers?" roughly 10 mins after I got off the phone with you (I did the cross reference with my phone) On top of that, she has been real distant for the last 2 weeks making me real insecure leading upto the phone incident. I questioned her about it and she said they play like that and dude didnt mean to cause such a riff between the two. I even asked to meet the dude and she said he agreed. I am far from accusing, but that was a major blower.

At 14 I'm going through a really bad phase. My realtinship with my parents was destroyed a year ago when they punished too harsh and I got extremely resentful. It's true I was doing wrong stuff but they didnt act as parents, but just as Law and showed no love. For a year I could bear with this situation but these days I've been really deprtessed, no one to share my problems with, no one to give me advice, I feel lonely, sad, depressed and alone. It's been hard to sleep at night. It's bad yo feel alone in your home.
I'm a kinda good student, most people like me, I get comfort in voluteering activities, but sometimes I wish I didnt exist. Maybe this is just a phase, but it's hard to deal with this. Sometimes I feel like doing something stupid.
Ok, I don't kow how to describe how I feel. What could I do? talking with my parents is out of the question.

Orchestral and choral rehearsals are always competing with sporting activities at lunch times and after school in 'club' times. This forces children to choose music or PE at a very early stage and they frequently have to give up the other activity because of lack of practice time.
How many of you have found (in your youth maybe) that you were virtually forced to give up either a sport, or a musical activity (or instrument)?
