They are both the same. Now answer this...whats heavier 1000lbs of Gold or 1000lbs of feathers.

Heaviness is related to density. Both of them weights the same. Density would be different. Density is mass divided by volume. For example if you picked up a 10lb baby and a 10lb bag of rice. The rice would feel heavier. The feathers would feel heavier. There are two types of density: loose and packed. Bricks contain air and water which is not as concentrated as feathers.

as long as both are 1000lb then they are equal..just going to take a lot more feathers then bricks to get there!!
