That depends on your taste. I'm a personal fan of adding a teaspoonful of Garlic Powder or Garlic Salt to Ramen. Gives it a little flavor, but not too much.
Be careful if you do use the Garlic Salt though...the salt can kill the taste all together if you use too much.

A little cayenne is good, season all, lemon pepper
Sometimes I drain the broth and add a little italian dressing.
My kids love bacon bits in their Ramen noodles

Add some garlic powder. That is always my go-to spice when it comes to ramen. Also, some dried aregano (sp?).

What are "chunks of stuff"? You can add: sliced ham or turkey, egg (sliced hard boiled or added like egg-drop soup), frozen vegetables (corn, peas, green beans), spinach, green onions. For chile-heat, you can add: black pepper, white pepper, red chile flakes, chile oil and even Tabasco.

I like a splash of "Tapitio" hot sauce and a squeeze of lime. While it's cooking you can add a beaten egg it's good.
