A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each
other the silent treatment.  Suddenly, the man realized that the next day,
he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AM for an early morning business flight.
Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper,
"Please wake me at 5:00 AM " He left it where he knew she would find it.
The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM
and he had missed his flight.  Furious, he was about to go and
see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by
the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."
Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.

A week or two ago I posted on here a question - read it before you lecture me about what I have to lose or what a jerk I am....
I am 33 married to my wife for 7 years, been with her for 11. She is the only woman I have ever had. The urge to be with another woman - for sex alone not a relationship - is becoming so bad I am practically in physical pain over it and cannot keep my mind off of doing some other woman - ANY other woman. This is clearly becoming a problem and I have begun seeing a therapist about it.
Well - now I have told my wife that I am going to a therapist and why - I had no choice first she wouldn't stop badgering me about where I was going when I had the appointments and then when I told her I was seeing a therapist for a problem she wouldn't stop badgering me about that. So, I told her. Now she is completely withdrawn and says she can't trust me at all and freaks if I so much as make a phone call and write an email she thinks I am "on the prowl".

It's not very healthy is it? My life is crap. I have no job. I have few freinds. The church I am trying to be involved in is making it really hard for me to join a small group. Tonight I'm meant to be at a party but I couldn't be bothered going as I won't know anyone and no one will speak to me. And my boyfriend was awful to me and left me with an abortion. I want to love a guy, but they've only ever used me. When I get tired of this I'll go to bed and wake up tomorrow and life will remain predictably empty.

At this work place you are not to state your own side!Whatever someone is lying about you stands.Often things are so twisted,you are BLAMED FOR THE EXACT OPPOSITE YOU DID.Try state your own side.They will want to shout at you.They shout and say "Dont talk back".They will say you lie.Feels totally unamerican--NO human rights.Feels like 3rd world kangoroo court.
I am sick of it,feel trapped in it,feel like an utmost slave with no rights.It is killing me.This is in North- American corporate world.Any evilness and unfairness is OK.There is nothing you can do about it.I do not hope you are able to give me a suggestion,but please,try.

Okay, am i being lame for offering my lunch or whatever it is i am eating to people i am around when i really dont want to. And then get annoyed when they accept? i dont want to be rude by not offering but i fell like a jerk because i really dont want them to accept either... This is only when i have food for myself, when i bring more than enough for me i dont mind.

HI FOLKS

I am very happy to be here !! I am experiencing the time of my life and have just found out that I have been suffering from Attention deficit disorder (without hyperactivity) for last 20 years of my life.

This has raised the cloud of depression surrounding me for years. I am planning to start with Bupropion and Sulbutamine.

It this disorder curable or will it be a lifelong malady !!

I saw a bird today at the lake, it is dark and has a beak that is orangish near its face. It dives for minnows and it swims under water. There were some of them on branches coming out of the water enjoying the sun, Not sure whether or not it had webbed feet or not. I didnt see any that were dry so I dont know about the colors but I think it is some kind of Heron but it was the size of a regular duck. I live in Kansas if that helps. Anyone know what it might be?

My husband has found out that I have been having an emotional affair with someone. We have been having problems for awhile now but he never seemed to get it. He doesn't seem to see what is wrong. I have tried to explain to him but he doesn't get it. Now he is going to base the problems on my affair which is a bunch of bull.
I use to talk to the guy about my problems and he use to try and help me out. My husband says I can't have any contact with this guy anymore. I told my husband I honestly think we need a break from each other to sort out what it is we both want. Now that I have said that he is giving me the cold shoulder (which he promised he wouldn't do) Now he is making me feel guilty. I am not going to go back to him just because of that cause I know we will eventually end up right back where we are today. I still love my husband but I am not sure if I want to be with him anymore, but I would like to figure that out. He ? me everyday & that is not going to help.

Why do so many people on both side of the political spectrum say they love their country, but then turn around and help to divide it? Red states vs. Blue states....Conservative vs. Liberal.....Democrat vs. Republican....American vs. American.... Let's stop acting like were rooting for a sporting event and start electing people that want to improve our nation.
