Okay, am i being lame for offering my lunch or whatever it is i am eating to people i am around when i really dont want to. And then get annoyed when they accept? i dont want to be rude by not offering but i fell like a jerk because i really dont want them to accept either... This is only when i have food for myself, when i bring more than enough for me i dont mind.

Don't feel like you have to share when you don't want to. Are people asking you, is that why you feel pressured? If they're always asking you to share food you brought just for yourself, then shame on them! If you just feel, inately, that you should be sharing your food, and then you hate yourself for it afterwards, then stop yourself from sharing your food. Your heart is in the right place, but don't end up hating your coworkers over it. If it makes you feel better, you could always bring something to share once in a while, like to compensate...
Best Regards,
Holly

yes you are lame. Don't offer if you don't want them to accept. You can apologize for not offering by explaining that you didn't bring alot with you today.

OK, if you dont want to offer it, dont do it, expecially if you are going to get upset about it! They can buy their own lunch! Only offer if you really want to, and have enough to spare.

Most people aren't mind readers. There is no rule that say's you are a jerk if you eat all your lunch. However, there is a rule that says you are acting like one if you say one thing and mean another.

Only share your lunch when you have brought enough to share. How rude, are your pals begging like dogs or what? Don't their mommies pack their lunches, too?
