Why is it America as a nation are quite happy to delude their children about their history ie wars and politics I just had a conversation with an eleven yr old and he doesn't have a single clue about any of the true accounts of either, all he has ever been told is a pack of lies.

I actually feel sorry for him do you?

I'm an American studying in the UK and I'm seriously thinking about teaching A level (high school) drama. I think it would be a great challenge and I know I have a lot to offer students. I need to go back to school to get a teaching certificate (I have a BA in theatre and an MA in writing for performance). My question is: should I go for a PGCE in England or try for a teaching certificate in the US? I know I can get work teaching drama in the UK, but it is more difficult getting visas, etc. I would like to teach in the US, but I don't know where I could teach just drama--I don't want to be the English teacher who does the after school plays! Any advice?

....you met the most gorgeous, intelligent, lovely man - and, while browsing his CD collection while he makes dinner, you find that it is entirely made up of Barry Manilow, Englebert, Cliff et al?

Could you turn a blind eye? Or would you really not care - it's only (bad) music, after all?

Whats the best way to stop a house cat from peeing where they shouldn't, mine keeps going in a corner despite all attempts to train her, we've put down plastic matting to stop it from staining (we have wooden lanament flooring through out) . Also how to remove the odour without using strong chemicals, i heared of using other house hold ingrediants but i've never found a good example.

I was given a silver certificate from 1928. It lwas handed to me in a plastic protective cover sleeve, but the bill itself is a little (just a little) worn/wrinkled. Is there anyway to clean these bills to look new and crisp once again? I know it wont be possible to get it looking like a brand new bill, but maybe something close to it?

We are working couple and no support from family .I have one daughter who is 8 years old.I have got her so many indoor games but she bored with them all. She at times now feels emotionally about being on her own always though we try to spend quality time with her.We are in a job where no families stay near by thus she has no company of her own age.She is sick of cartoons and all indoor games.

I am really worried to cope up with the situation.

Please suggest some serious stuff!!!

Sometimes I become a negative thinker like him... I dont want to feel that way. I want him to take every problem as a challenge, like its not the end of the world... I learn to get something from every situation, and take it as a learning experience. How can I teach him that?

If I own a consulting company and I want to purchase a competing consulting company, what are the costs associated with the purchase?

Already have these costs, wondering if I am missing anything:
- acquisition purchase price (includes assets, business, acquire customer contracts)
- finance charges
- taxes
- lawyer fees
- closing costs
- travel costs (company is in another company)
- training/converting that business to my business
- restructuring costs
- will have to pay the new employees
- marketing costs
- attrition costs (to keep as many employees from that company as possible)
