Yes. Religion's influence on this country has been largely a negative one. It has curtailed stem cell research which can help millions. It has promoted people having babies in already overcrowded areas. It has forced people to live in pain with no relief in sight. It has placed guilts on people, playing on their human insecurities, to create a represseed culture. And it has let politicians corral votes by just playing to various religious groups, which has shifted the country to nonsense issues while the politicos reap mounds of corporate money.

North America is following the religion of Evolutionistic Humanism. That is the problem.

So, you're suggesting we would progress a lot further if we were not a religious people? Let's see, are there any examples of atheistic societies? How did they progress?
The USSR comes to mind. I suppose you would have preferred that highly advanced society to our backwards one?
Yes, the Soviet Union was oh so far advanced due to their atheistic beliefs. They advanced themselves right out of sight.

I don't think so. It gives us cultural access to the whole world. If a company wants to do business in India or the Middle East, they're going to need to hire people who can understand the local religion and culture. It's been our ability to adapt and infiltrate local culture (and subdue it, to a certain extent) that's made us so rich. Look at Coca Cola, McDonalds and Levis... You sure as heck wouldn't serve pulled-pork sandwiches in Jerusalem, would you?

I follow my instincts. possibly i'm a simpleton, yet I have continually felt that my judgment has continually lead me to the righteous route. My judgment takes me the position my faith meant for me to go. Are customs unlike clay, replacing type with each and every new hand that molds it? Can one not see shifts in "subculture"? Shepards at the instantaneous are not tending the fields, yet accomplishing for the sky, al the even as saying "I shall not in any respect replace, Allah has blessed me and my human beings".
