....you met the most gorgeous, intelligent, lovely man - and, while browsing his CD collection while he makes dinner, you find that it is entirely made up of Barry Manilow, Englebert, Cliff et al?

Could you turn a blind eye? Or would you really not care - it's only (bad) music, after all?

It hasn't happened to me (yet) just a hypothetical question.

Dont worry babe I have a great record collection (personally I don't believe in this CD, flash in the pan fad)
How does ABBA, The carpenters and the Bay city rollers grab you?

P.S. I LOVE YOU

if it was me id think it was funny and id prob listen to it 4 a bit see what its all about. The fact that he isnt like every other bloke in the world tryin to impress is great. The fact he has the bottle to like an b who he wants is fantastic . So what if he likes different music.... its gud....plus its somethin you can laff at wit the grandkids in years to come!

Definitely turn a blind eye...besides, if everyone had the same taste in music etc, how boring would life be?! If you both liked exactly the same things, you'd soon get bored, and who knows, maybe he'll convert you!!

There's be no need to fret as I am quote: "the most gorgeous, intelligent, lovely man" and I have none of those CD's in my collection.

They are all on my ipod.

If all other qualities outweigh this terrible character flaw, stick with him! After all, think about how much fun you could have in future making fun of him! See it as an endearing trait! Also, that's this years Christmas pressie sorted! A great big pair of headphones!!

I dont see why the music that he listen too would affect your relationship. My husband and I listen to 2 totally different styles of music and it has never been an issue.

Get over it- nobody's perfect. Just move your CD collection in! At least to the car.
