Right, the planet sucks at the minute. Are we all agreed?

Good.

Now, in order to fix the planet, it's going to take time, effort and money. Are we agreed?

Good.

Now, the politicians who run our various countries are theiving bastards who refuse to spend any money fixing anything because spending money immediately means an increase in taxes, and an increase in taxes gets people annoyed and means they won't be running our various countries for much longer. Are we all agreed?

Good.

So, here's the deal: how about we take a vote. All those in favour who think, "Screw it, we all agree to be p*ss poor for the next ten years, so long as there is a 100% guarentee that after those ten years, everything will be fixed" say "Aye".

All those who think "Thinks will get better on the their own, I'm sure it just needs a little time" say "Nay".

Adverts are banned form our TV's that are considered misleading, to sexy or contain mild swear words that offend people. This is supposedly done to protect society. However army recruitment ads tell people they will go on a big adventure, learn new skills and be defending there loved ones. What they don't mention is that you stand a good chance of killing people you have never met and worse getting killed. Surely these ads are dangerously misleading!

I have to rent a car for 2 weeks for business. Supposely, the cost should be reimbursed to me by a company after the assingment is done. Not sure if I can truly trust that.

But anyway, if I don't get the insurance, it will be $500. But if I get insurance, it is $1200.

I am a safe driver and I will be in a rural place. I am trying to convince myself that I don't need it. But then again, I worry about what might happen if accidents occur.

The cost of rental car will be reimbursed by a company. But I am not sure if they are actully going to do that in timely manner and my credit card balance is high. I don't want to put extra money charged into my account.

My credit card company and auto insurance company (on my own car) told me that they do not have insurance coverage on rental cars.

What do you think?

My brother is a major fan of the Rocky movies and I have just heard there is another one coming out soon - Rocky 6. He would absolutely die if I could give him a Rocky boxing gown for Christmas. I just moved back in w/ my child's father. Our son is 2 yrs old. I don't have a job here yet cause they gave away our son's spot @ daycare & his dad blamed me for it. He doesn't work. He continues 2 pay more attention 2 computers. Yeah he buys things for our son but he just spent $300 for a laptop when he has 2 computers at home. He goes 2 college & doesn't get home until around 4:30. He lays down for a while, gets up eats, then goes straight 2 his computers. Last night I made out a plan for the next few days on what to eat for me & my son and all he could say was that it didn't include him. How can I include him in on things when he doens't clue us in. I get so fustrated cause I'm here 24/7 w/ our son & it kills him 2 pay him 5 minutes of attention. He never tells him goodbye either & my son will be staring at him when he walks out the door. He keeps tellin me he needs 2 be potty trained. I'm workin on it & he refuses 2 help sayin it interfers w/ his schedule. What should I do?

My ex died last weekend. We have a 5 yr old son and we had nine years together. We'd made peace with a lot that happened over the years and were very close up until the day he died. I miss him terribly. My mother says I should stop crying, get over it, move on. But how do I just get over losing the man that has meant everything to me? He was my friend and the father of my child. Any advice guys? I'm really hurting right now.
