It would be okay for me because I am very open minded. But Cando 86 is wrong, a transgender person is someone who has already had a sex change or gender reassignment. A transvestite is someone who dresses in the clothes of a person of the opposite sex.

Well, if he always dressed as a woman, I wouldn't call him a transvestite, but rather a transgender (not transsexual- that would be wanting to be a woman by surgery and hormones). That's still fine, but they're different things. In my opinion, it'd be good to me, but I'm very open-minded. For others, it woud be more difficult to date a transgendered person who was always cross-dressedin public as opposed to a transvestite who merely liked to do it in the privacy of the home.
