and just answering for points is selfish. this is to those that have just admitted to been selfish in they're answers.

I enjoy answering questions mostly from the Computing, Education, Health and Science sections - areas in which I have knowledge, expertise, experience and qualifications.
My answers seem to be OK and 40% of the 1198 I've answered were rated as 'Best Answers'.
I have asked just one question.
I don't understand why you are confused. Perhaps your thinking is as sloppy as your grammar, syntax and punctuation. Sorry, I apologise - I am so old that those things irritate me!

Hello Fluzzy65, I will try to explain how I go about things on Yahoo Q & A, I do tend to answer a lot more than ask, the reason being, if I need an answer to a particular question then I research for the answer myself, I enjoy looking for the answer.
Perhaps others who ask questions haven't the time to spend researching for the answer they need and this forum is very helpful to them. Some of the others have highlighted the points system so I will not bore you with that.
Take care.

Asking questions cost points. Answering questions gains points. You do the math.

I only ask a question when I want an answer. Other than that I just answer that's what it's all about. Points are just a bit of fun.
