For me, cleaning the bathroom ranks at the top. Getting the scrubbing brush, the ammonia, and all, and oh man, the smell gets you "toxic" dizzy.
Vacuuming blows pretty much, the same back and forth motion.
And picking up that loose "snigglet" that refuses to get vacuumed
up, even though you keep going over it.
Washing the floor is awful, per the Pine Sol, wringing the d a m n
mop, cleaning the dirty bucket out.
WIndow cleaning reeks......getting out the windex and paper
towels, trying to get the last da m n bits of dirt.
Washing the car.....maybe the worst......the dirty bucket again,
the leaning over and squating with wet rags.....
Just getting ready for work sucks too, the blow drying of hair I hate,
and flossing the teeth is a major bore.
Cutting grass is okay if one is in the mood, but the emptying of the
Catcher sucks.
Raking leaves with a rake and bagging it is worst, and now is the season.
Finally, shoveling major snow sucks.....even with a snow blower.

I'm in the process of baking a cake right now. I just noticed the date on the carton of eggs from my refrigerator said to "sell by August 01". Obviously I don't eat a lot of eggs. But, the cake should still be safe to eat, right?

Ok, first of all i know you don't know me so you have no idea what my feelings or his are so you will give me the normal advice ..move on and blah blah blah. well, I got mad because some girl tryed to make me jealous ..we broke up but got back together then i got jealous about a girl at work so we broke up then got back together then this last time we went to great escape so i asked before we even went if he could come over after and he said no because it would be late well he said probably not. Then his friend asked and he said yes and said i could go but i just wanted to go back to my house and be alone ..(not like that either) So i ignored him alot after that and we tryed to talk on the phone and it felt like he didn't care so i cryed and got more mad. Then that night he broke up with me. People say it's not over for good but he says it is. He won't talk to me. How can i get him back and make him understand it won't keep happening? We are perfect together and hardly ever fight.

Recently my neighbor who is 13 years old, has been spending a whole lot of time with a guy who is a whole lot older than her- he's 20!!! He's at her house every day!!! he used to be friends with my brothers but not as much anymore. i was also kind of friends with him, and he is a little immature. anyway, people have asked them what is going on, and they claim that they are just friends, but i just have this feeling that they are just saying that so no one gets worried......and so now no one really seems to think the age difference is a big deal, not even this girls mother! what do you think?

We are looking at a new house that requires a lot of modernisation - 3 bed semi. Does anyone know how much I can expect to carpet 2 x reception rooms, hallway and stairs, landing and 3 bedrooms? Just standard fairly hard-wearing carpet, 1 colour no patterns, short pile, nothing too posh/pricey? I need to budget for everything and haven't got a clue as not done this before! Thank you

Seems like young girls these days are having sex like rabbits with no concern for anything. How long do you usually wait to give up the goods? Do you have other "rules" to abide by before you give it up?
(Btw, guys, please feel free to answer this one as well)

A couple lived near the ocean and used to walk the beach a lot. One summer day they noticed a girl who was also at the beach nearly every day. She wasn't unusual, nor was the travel bag she carried, except for one thing. She would approach people who were sitting on the beach, glance around, then speak to them.
Generally, the people would respond negatively and she would wander off, but occasionally someone would nod and there would be and exchange of money for something she carried in her bag. The couple assumed she was selling drugs and debated calling the cops, but since they didn't know for sure they just continued to watch her.
After a couple more weeks of watching this the wife asked her husband, "Honey, have you ever noticed that she only goes up to people with boom boxes and other electronic devices?"
He hadn't and said so. Then she said, "Tomorrow I want you to get a towel and our big radio and go lie out on the beach. Then we can find out what she's really doing."
Well, the plan went off withour a hitch, and the wife was almost hopping up and down with anticipation when she saw the girl talk to her husband and then leave. The man walked up the beach and met hes wife at the road. "Well, is she selling drugs?" she asked excitedly.
"No, she's not" He said. "Her name is Sally and she's a battery salesperson."
"Batteries?" cried the wife.
"Yes", he replied. "She sells C cells by the seashore."

When we introduce an animal in a story or or an article, should we use THE or A / AN?

Some of what I have read made use of THE while some made use of A / An.

For example, 'the giraffe' is the tallest animal. Why can't we use 'a giraffe' in this sentence?

Thanks for your help.

Marge was in bed with a man (not her husband). All of a sudden, they heard a
noise downstairs. "Oh, my God, your husband is home! What am I going to do?"

"Just stay in bed with me. He's probably so drunk; he isn’t going to notice
you here with me." The fear of getting caught trying to escape was more powerful
than the thought of getting caught in bed with Marge, so he trusted her advice.
Sure enough, Marge's husband came crawling into bed and as he pulled the covers
over him, he pulled the blankets, exposing six feet.

"Honey!" he yelled. "What the hell is going on? I see six feet at the end of
the bed!"

"Dear, you're so drunk, you can't count. If you don't believe me, count them
again."

The husband got out of bed, and counted. "One, two, three, and
four... By gosh, you're right, dear!"
